This was our first time at the fine dining restaurant, Yova. Overall we had a very nice meal. The ambiance is beautiful and the service was great. The boar chops and side of vegetables were very tasty and good portions. The lobster fettuccini was a very small portion and not something we would order again. It was not only small, but overly oily. $42 should buy you more than an appetizer portion. At the price point of this restaurant, expectations are high and the food should be excellent and well portioned. Note: Entrees don’t include any sides, so you will pay extra for those.

My first two meals were very good. Unfortunately, this time not so much. The meal came out cold. It just wasn't a very good experience. Going to be my last time for a while.

Restaurant was amazing and ambience was tranquil. Small portions for the prices, but food was delicious.

The osso buco was tasty but very small amount of lamb. Lamb was in small pieces and when combined with gnocchi, it was primarily like gnocchi soup. I did not care for the presentation. The foccacia and dips were tasty as were the salad, wine and Tiramisu. I think the entree was overpriced. The interior of restaurant is very nice and service was excellent.

Still a few kinks to work out. New chef is doing a good job. The octopus appetizer was one of the best I’ve ever had. Real skill to get the smokiness and keep the flavor and moisture. Venison wax perfectly cooked, good presentation, balance of flavors. Boar chops were not the best quality, pretty tough and fat not rendered properly but there was flavor. I suggested they use a local source, Rawhide meats, to get better quality chops. We were comped our desserts because of the tough chops which was a positive response. Deserts were fabulous, pot du crème and poached pear in white wine. Great selection of wines. Our server, Mary was wonderful, moving us from a table for four to a table for two when our friends were unable to come. Mary had not been told about the comped desserts but took care of it and gave us our local discount without a problem. Next time I’ll try the Whole Branzino!

Firefall is a beautiful resort and it just opened its fine dining restaurant Yova in addition to its more casual tavern. 6 of us had dinner at Yova and were not overly impressed for the prices charged. Several things that could be improved. One person ordered the rib eye steak with mashed potatoes and it was lukewarm. We had to go find the waitress to ask for the dish to be heated up, and it still came back lukewarm. One person ordered the pasta with lobster and it was a minuscule size portion. The white wine should have been served and stored in an ice bucket. The waitress never came back to re-pour our wine. While I wouldn't expect this in a more casual setting, the restaurant is described as "fine dining". Maybe we will retry Yova after it's been open longer and worked out the kinks. We hope it succeeds as it's nice to have restaurant options in the area. I will say the bartender in the tavern was awesome.

Dinner was delicious. Atmosphere is beautiful. It’s a fairly new restaurant and service was slow. I’m sure that will improve in time.

We were so excited to eat here. We love Rush Creek and will drive the 25 minutes, just to eat there. Since they’re related, we had high hopes. First let me say that the restaurant is beautiful and our waitress, Linda, was really wonderful. The food however was sadly disappointing. The octopus was tough and a little slimy. My Branzino was $59 and came whole with no accompaniments. I would have really liked if they could debone it table side at least, for that price. My husband’s Boar chops were very tough. We ordered the foraged mushrooms for our side and they had no flavor at all. We were really looking forward to a new restaurant option up here. It is very over priced and the value is not great. We really hope they can figure it out because we would like them to be successful.
