Our party of 10 was very pleased with drinks, food and service. The salmon meals, fried Fishermans platter, salads, chowder, and fried calamari were all excellent. Prices were in line with today's prices. Our servers were attentive and very friendly and we never felt rushed. We all would recommend this restaurant highly!

Mediocre meal. Out server was excellent. This was our 3rd time here. We had an outstanding stuffed cod or haddock special a year or so ago. Our entire group raved about the meal. But our last two times back have been a disappointment. We’ll try again, but beginning to lose faith.

I visited The Fisherman for Thanksgiving dinner. There were 3 "Specials" for the Thanksgiving Dinner plus the regular menu was also available. I chose the Mediterranean Halibut with mashed Cauliflower and roasted heirloom carrots. The vegetables were very tasty. The crushed almond crusted Halibut was good, but a little overcooked. The location is awesome, right on the cove and the decor/ambiance is nice.

Seating had a nice view of the water. Food was under seasoned and lobster bisque was barely warm with only a single piece of lobster in it for $14. Fried fish was hot though. Service was pleasant but extremely slow with only four other diners in the restaurant. Disappointed with my experience.

We decided to give this restaurant another try because when we were here last summer the food was satisfactory, but the service was horrible. We arrived at 5:45 for our party of 4 reservation,15 minutes early. The restaurant was not at all busy, plenty of open tables. The hostess told us that although we had a reservation that we had to wait closer to our reservation time to be seated, offered us to wait in the lobby or in the lounge. One person in my party was handicapped and used a walker. After waiting 10 mins she asked if he could take two stairs up with his walker to sit in a section without a ramp to access, um NO! While we waited other another party of 4 without reservations came in and were seated immediately. We thought this was highly unusual. Moving on to dinner .. Our waitress Krystin, was excellent, but the food was less than desirable. The lobster bisque was so thick with cream and lacked lobster and was cold. There was one very small piece of lobster floating on the top. My main dish, Ahi Tuna, priced at $37 a plate, was cooked perfect but the rest of the dish was undercooked with VERY El Dente vegetables and at best room temp. Everyone at my table noted that their food was cold as well. Very overpriced dinner for the quality provided. We will not be returning for anything but maybe a burger and fries.

Very disappointed. Waitress was very rude. Extremely small portion of fried clams ($38), French fries were greasy. Baked Cod was floating in a white liquid.

The new menu was a welcome change! I’ve loved the location but not the menu here historically. I’m not a seafood eater and last night enjoyed a wonderful burger with nice slaw. The only feedback was that the fries should’ve been hotter and crispier. My husband had the seafood pie which came with a nice salad. He really enjoyed it. We finish with one of the best crème brûlées I have had in awhile and a peanut butter espresso martini which was divine. The waitress was sweet but busy, they seemed a bit short staffed. The prices were a tad high, but given the proximity to where we go , the views and the great food- we will be back.
