   We had initially booked for 1930 but needed to move it for later and the team was very accommodating. The food was very good. We had the scallop starter and the lobster thermidor to share. The lobster was delicious, and the scallops were too..however, the flavour of the breadcrumbs felt a tiny bit overpowering compared to the sweet scallops. The pistachio gellato was soothing! The ambience coulda been a bit down-lit given the vibe/feel the decor is going for. I must make a special mention of our waiter, Elliot. They were very helpful with the questions we had and helped us through the menu. They provided excellent service and made this time at the restaurant even more amazing. Small touches like making sure our water glasses were topped up just made the experience more personalised.

   We had a nice meal at the Fishworks, Covent Garden. The fish dishes were tasty, and the panna cotta dessert I had was really good. However, it was a bit expensive for what it was. Also, my wife and I went there for Valentine's Day, attracted by the advertised four course tasting menu. However, one of the "courses" was the side bread, which was a bit misleading. Overall, we had a nice meal, albeit a bit overpriced.

   Unfortunately we were served raw oysters for starters which didn’t start well. My wife and l couldn’t believe such a huge error could be made at such a prestigious restaurant. The waitress was apologetic but l would have expected a manager to come to our table and apologise. My wife and l are going away on Tuesday and this could have led to an illness that would have prevented us from going resulting in a huge loss of money.

   In general a good experience with one slight hitch being our apéritif’s arriving at the same time as our starters!

   Great restaurant- friendly staff. Food was very good and we were not rushed despite it being a Saturday night. Prices seemed reasonable but we went for the expensive Turbot. Will definitely come back again later.

   First time at this branch (Covent Garden). 4 of us for dinner at 7:30. The theatre crowd had left so we had a very relaxed and enjoyable evening. The fish is superb. So fresh and so well cooked. We all had the jumbo prawns to start, very tasty! I had the Halibut from the fish of the day, best I can remember eating. the others had the seabass, also very good. And it;s not just fish, we all couldn't resist the apple crumble, lovely way to finish. I am looking to return in a few weeks with some other friends.

   We were a family party of 4 meeting up for a post-Christmas lunch. The service was friendly and efficient. We unanimously agreed that the food was some of the best fish cooking we had ever tasted. The unhurried ambience was perfect and we will certainly be returning in the future. We have no reservation about recommending the Fishworks to our wider friends and family.
