   It was a surprise for my wife's birthday breakfast. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding. The place was clean and beautiful. We will be back for dinner/brunch for sure.

   The waitress was clearly inexperienced and untrained. The manager was unprofessional. Food to table took a long time. Steaks tasted wonderful. The sides and apps were mediocre. Overpaid big time for the overall experience.

   Our waitress was great! She recommended the Publishers Margarita which was excellent. The She Crab Bisque was beyond delicious!!! My Filet Mignon was very tender and they had my favorite sauce, Bernaise. I chose the Caesar salad as my side and it was very crisp and had just the right amount of dressing. I had the Smoked S’mores for dessert with an espresso martini and both were very good. I would highly recommend going to Five Chophouse and Bar if you have not yet tried it.

   Five Chophouse had excellent ambiance and the service was great. Food was ok. Oysters were not washed properly and the vinegar sauce served with them did not taste good at least not on the oyster. Wedge salad was delicious and my husband’s steak was ok. Overall good.

   It was our second visit. The food was amazing. The staff is so friendly and attentive and I love the ambiance of the place. We will definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends.

   After a rough start of wine and water glasses being placed on the table, no water was provided until requested. After that, all went well from the dozen oysters to our meals. My wife, who is a published author of cookbooks, tasted her bone-in rib eye. She was thrilled with its taste and presentation. My baby-back ribs were also delicious. The restaurant and bar are part of the hotel so enter through the hotel main door.

   A nice addition to the restaurants in downtown Fredericksburg. A little more upscale and overall a good experience. Our server was very nice but the service overall was slow. The entrees, sides, and drinks were good, but not quite up to what you’d expect for the price. Good flavor but our steaks for example, were slightly overdone. The old fashioned (a drink I often get) was okay, but not good enough that I had another one. Overall, it was good but not the kind of place we left talking about how much we wanted to come back to again.

    Food was great and beautiful. Each course was presented in a timely manner and the wait staff was attentive but not overly present. Just the right amount to have a nice, quiet dinner. Looking forward to returning to try more of the menu.
