   We had a reservation for two but waited 15–20 minutes without anyone greeting us or taking our drink order after we were seated. Two staffers were made aware of our wait, however, when service finally began, things didn’t improve—it took a while to get our food and one order came out wrong. To save time, I removed the unwanted ingredients from my order and requested the missing ingredients on a separate plate. The dish I ordered, a crispy fish sandwich, was a major letdown. While the exterior was perfectly crispy, the inside was undercooked, too soft and mushy. By the time it would have taken to correct the order, the rest of the table would have already finished eating. After a long day of travel, I forced myself to eat half the sandwich. My experience was disjointed and frustrating. The waiter saw my lack of emotion regarding our dining experience and discounted the bill a few dollars. Honestly, he should have comped the entire entree. Overall, our meals, service and cooking mistakes were sub-par. Disappointing and not worth the trouble of a second visit.

   The food was incredible! I savored every dish. The wait staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. The music playing in the background created a fantastic, groovy atmosphere. The only downside was that I wish I had a bigger stomach to enjoy even more food. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it. Five stars all the way!

   I’ve dined here a few times before and always have a great experience. My go-to items are two wings and a waffle, the Mac and cheese, and the red beans and rice. I also enjoy the cocktails and that they show sporting events such as Monday Night Football and Lakers games.

   My girls requested fixings for our Christmas Adventure meal. We enjoyed the food and ambience. They always amaze me with how quickly the food comes, how hot the food is, and how consistently good the food is. LOVE IT!

   I ordered chicken wings and two waffles for breakfast and the wings were not fully cooked. The waffles were good though.

   The food and service was great! My only complaint is that the music is too loud. It's hard to have a conversation with anyone at your table

    AMAZING SOUL FOOD!! Our party of 4 tasted so many delicious meals. For starters we tried the fried deviled eggs and fish bites both 🔥. Next up was the gumbo, uptown salad with double grilled shrimp with a side of greens, chicken & waffles, shrimp & grits and the fried catfish plate with grits. EVERYTHING WAS COOKED TO PERFECTION!!! We also tasted the candied yams, mac n cheese and black eyed peas all 🔥 as well. For drinks we ordered a Dirty Martini and Rose Martini absolute perfection. This place is perfect for large or small groups and an excellent choice for dinner prior to attending Crypto. You can not go wrong dining here. Also our waiter AARON was thee best with his recommendations and service. 5⭐️'s for sure Fixins
