   The Food was excellent. Best Collards and Chicken that I have EVER had..Service was not that great. We waited for sometime to have our order taken and never saw our server again, except when she was counting her tips at the bar.. and then she left. The server that took over was very busy, bless her heart. She made sure we had drinks to go because we never received refills and it took some time to get boxes for our food to take home..When we finally received our dessert along with the bill, I still tipped over 20%..You never know what servers are going through and they do the best they can..I won’t let the suboptimal service sway me to not return.. Everyone deserves a second chance..AND THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT..

   A rear gem in a changing community but welcomed to preserve roots! Deserae our host was friendly, energetic and attentive despite busy work. Food delectable and my hot toddy superb for a cold day!! Ambience lovely despite noise level and wish live music was present…

   We were greeted right away & seated. Ambience was great. Service was timely. Our server was welcoming, knowledgeable of the menu and very accommodating. The food was delicious especially the vegetables. Lunch was so filling that we did not have any of the delicious sounding desserts. We will be back to try more things on the menu.

   This was our 4th time eating here and we brought friends who had not been before. Every time, our meal is wonderful and every time the service is impeccable. Waitresses are always really busy but always really kind and personable and do their job well. We're grateful for this business in town and think the ambience of the place is superb.     Everytime I see the name Fixins my mouth waters like Pavlov’s Dog! lol. Their food, music, big screens and patio are all things FABULOUS! Their chicken, greens, Mac & Cheese, adult beverages and red kool-aid (yep! Ol’ skool Heyyyy Kool-aid) make me wanna ask for either a couch or a bed afterwards. So I can wake up and eat again. lol Hint….make sure you book ahead or you’ll be sadly waiting and hangry! Thanks Chef Billy for the deliciousness.
