My husband and I enjoyed our experience as well as the food at Flemming’s UTC. Our waitress, Tracy, was exceptional. She was friendly as well as professional. She did not hover but always knew when to check on us to see if we needed anything. All the staff were attentive and did their job effectively and efficiently. The manager also was very friendly and available . The lava cake we had for dessert tasted good but itdid not have the traditional liquid chocolate lava spilling out.

We are visiting as my son is rowing at the US Rowing National Youth Championships and the staff went above and beyond to make him feel special and celebrated! The meal was delicious as also, but the extra touch of the card was extra special.

Have always wanted to try Flemings and a new one has opened nearby the hotel we stay in in Sarasota. Had a wonderful experience. Great Food and Terrific service. Brought 1/2 the steak and potatoes home for our meal tonight.

For an upscale steakhouse brand, the ambience was extremely disappointing. The dining room was a noisy, open box that felt more like a dining hall, than a fine dining restaurant. We were seated very close to the kitchen, which only added to the noise and the foot traffic. Overall not worth the money.

This was our first meal in this newly opened Fleming's Restaurant and our expectations were high. Our party of three started with wine cocktails and delicious calamari for the table. We then ordered our main courses consisting of one filet mignon and two orders of Tuna with a side order of Brussel sprouts. The first problem occurred when a server placing my meal in front of me managed to knock over a full glass of ice water that landed in my lap soaking the table cloth, my shirt, pants, socks and underwear. In the ensuing next few minutes, there was a scramble to mop things up and move me to a new somewhat dry 4th chair. Our meals were then again placed in front of us. The two of us eating tuna were then disappointed to find that our meals, while tasty, were cold. Other fine dining restaurants in the area manage to serve equally rare/tasty tuna that is also warm and much more enjoyable to eat. Fleming's is a very noisy restaurant that makes it difficult to have an enjoyable conversation. This Fleming's restaurant has recently opened and is obviously, having some startup pains. It is pricey and a less enjoyable place to eat than other pricey fine dining restaurants in the area. While the food was tasty, other issues tended to overwhelm.

Stephana was well spoken and knowledgeable. Made great suggestions and we enjoyed some. The bartender also made well balanced martini. Food was excellent kitchen clean and all employees ran like a well oiled machine.
