Nestled in the picturesque village of Lowonsford, on the banks of the Stratford Canal, between winding country roads that used to be part of the Forest of Arden, The Fleur De Lys is the very best kind of country pub. Packed full of quaint charm and quirky corners beneath its C16th wooden beams, The Fleur is a cosy haven in the winter and an extensive paradise in the summer. There are so many tiny wonders packed into this historic building that you will always find something new to fall in love with when you visit. Our garden boasts an acre of land to run riot on and a low level wooden children’s playground, alongside over 30 tables and benches. We’re ideally situated for walkers and ramblers who wish to explore the canal towpath or a variety of local walks. If you’re intending on zooming through this part of Warwickshire on a bicycle, The Fleur makes an excellent intermediary watering hole to fortify you for the ride ahead.

I always say that I’m not going to have a pie, unfortunately I haven’t been able to resist and haven’t been disappointed. Go on, have a pie. Yum.

Busy day - Sunday lunch & foul weather but the good old Fleur was bursting at the seams with happy diners. We were with overseas friends and all enjoyed an excellent meal combined with much chatter & laughter. Always a great buzz & a happy atmosphere. Good food & wine & excellent friendly service. X

Great service and quality food but very expensive for what we had. I think because we all opted for the turkey dinner we were charge a full £35 per head for the 3 course set menu either though we didn’t have three courses. Either way it was very expensive for what we had but the food was good quality and the service good thank you.

We dine regularly at the Fleur which enables us to form a comparison to normal visits. We waited 45 minutes to be served at the bar before dining & the service was slow. So would suggest more staff please. Our table for 6 was dimly lit so unable to read the menu clearly. I appreciate this is a busy time of year, but if you can’t get it right on the 6 th December, you’ve no chance later in the month. However, we will return on New Years Day with our table for 8 in the hope that you will have sorted your issues and your normal service will be resumed.

Had an absolute wonderful time celebrating our daughter's birthday. Everything about the evening was spot on. Only slight (very slight negative) was the wait for our starters). Other than that the food, the menu choice, ambience and staff were excellent. Thank you for providing a great place for our celebration.
