   We had an amazing experience with JP! he made sure to take care of us from start to finish. The Flint is a great place to go for special occasions or just a nice night out. Will definitely be going back again for another amazing experience!

   I recently gave Flint a glowing 5-star review across the board—it was truly outstanding. However, during our latest visit for a date night, my wife and I left feeling a bit underwhelmed. While the food remained exceptional and deserving of 5 stars, the service didn’t quite measure up to our previous experience. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, with several empty tables around, so it was surprising that our server seemed inattentive. He was adequate but didn’t appear very interested in making our evening special. Throughout the night, we felt somewhat overlooked, possibly because he was focusing more on a larger party nearby that had placed a more substantial order. That said, the food was still phenomenal. The Moroccan Chicken, Burrata, and Wood-Grilled Artichoke were all top-notch in quality and taste. Unfortunately, the service didn’t live up to the same high standard this time. Coincidentally, my son and his girlfriend dined here a few nights before and mentioned a similar experience. I’m hoping for a return to the stellar service we previously enjoyed, as I’d love to give Flint another perfect review in the future!

   Let’s just say we did not stay till midnight, packed both main course and desert to go, and felt really crappy about choosing Flint over other places.

   Reserved for a table of 8 for 8 pm for their NYE experience. Was excited as they had a DJ and seemed like would be a festive environment. Arrived just before 8 pm and was seated promptly. Server didn’t even come to our table for the first 10-12 ish minutes, took drink orders, still had not received drinks by 8:35. Almost 40 minutes in and no drinks. Complained, manager came over, apologized, comped first round of drinks, making sure to state that drinks had been clocked in at 8:16 pm. Ok so this is normal for guests to be seated for 40 minutes with no cocktails? It wasn’t overly packed in there. Server came back around 9 (an hour into ?) to take food orders. We then had to advise we had another commitment we were heading to and we needed to order all food and have it come out ASAP, skipping the prepaid dessert. Had we known things would be so delayed we would have mentioned this up front but didn’t think we had to, had planned for 2 ish hours for dinner. Everything then became rushed due to the slow start. Unfortunately 20% gratuity was already going to be added due to the preset meal cost and terms. Service was terrible. Very disappointed by the experience. Food was just ok. Lessons learned. Also want to add that since your reservations were only able to be held with non-refundable $75/ pp, that should give you plenty of opportunity to plan appropriately for your servers, cooks, bartenders, etc. Very poorly executed.

   Everything was great . However we decided to take our New Year Dinner desert home with us . It was to include three items . They were bagged and brought to our table that way . When we got home we discovered that only two of the desert items were in the take home bag.

   Delicious food, our server JP was fantastic. He was so busy , I think he had at least 5 big tables. Very small portions. Long waits for drinks and food , example dinner wine came out 35 min before food. The music was way too loud we couldn’t hear the waitstaff when they brought out items. To eat for 4 hours, and have to tell the whole time to converse was a lot. Our total bill for 4 ppl was $1200. I expect it to be so it’s perfect for that price.

   The service was very slow, dirty dishes were left on our table for 20+ minutes between courses, had to wait a long time to order a beer because we weren't being checked up on often. Also, one item came out with different ingredients than described on the menu.

    While the restaurant had a nice ambience and there wasn’t anything necessarily bad about it, there also wasn’t anything impressive that stood out to me. Our tab was about $200 for two people and it was food I felt I can make at home. French fries were very dry and not fresh. The salad was a basic salad and my $20 drink was Just a basic tequila with a mixer. We also waited for our waiter for a while initially. He was very nice but perhaps they were short staffed. Overall, it was an ok experience, but not memorable enough for us to go back a second time.
