   Our server Nadia was excellent. The food however was not. The NY strip was tough and lacked flavor. The sides of cream corn and cheese grits (grits with grated cheese on top) lacked creativity.

   Flint has become my go-to brunch restaurant before taking my great nieces to Civic Center matinees. They like the Chicken and Waffles and splitting an adult order makes the perfect size for two children. The girls love the restaurant’s “fancy” feel and I appreciate the valet parking. The servers always make sure we get out in time for the show.

   I ordered a latte and the waitress said they were out of espresso. No big deal. All of their specialties coffees are made with espresso so I just had water. The person with me asked if they have coffee and the waitress condescendingly explained espresso and coffee are different (seriously..?). Waitress then mistakenly brought back a cup of hot tea instead of coffee, and when it was brought to her attention, she wanted to argue that it was coffee she brought and not tea. Then brought the wrong side item for my meal and at this point we were beyond ready to leave so I didn’t care. I used to work in food service and this was the most uncomfortable, awful service I’ve encountered. We go there regularly and won’t be back. The food wasn’t good either.

   First time here and everything was top notch! Filet cut like butter. Wedge salad excellent and the charcuterie board was fabulous!! Wait staff helpful, friendly and knowledgeable!! Great job

    Our waiter was really good. He was very attentive and on top of things. Food was just ok. The 3 dishes we had were: 1) meatloaf - which was cold in the middle 2/10 2) salmon pasta - had good, not great taste 6.5/10 3) chicken fried steak - good taste 7/10
