Flint Creek Cattle Company is a new American steak restaurant that emphasizes ethically raised beef and sustainable farm practices. The dining area is extremely wide open and spacious. There is a large, high vaulted ceiling in addition to floor-to-ceiling windows that lets in lots of natural light and lets guests feel like they are eating outside.

Flint Creek's menu is an ever rotating selection of modern American cuisine. The items on it frequently change based on the seasonality of the ingredients, ensuring new items are introduced as others leave. Favorites on the menu include Fennel Braised Wild Boar Shoulder, Durham Ranch Bison Hangar Steak, and the Oven Roasted Duck Confit.

Great, creative food and cocktails paired with excellent service. I now know why FlintCreek is on the Eater 38 list.

Completely overpriced. The whole concept is dressed/priced like a high end experience, but the food was less than average. It seemed pre-made and just heated to order, because it came out so fast and because our food was overdone (I got the duck confit and my husband got the wild boar shoulder). The gnocchi that came with my husband’s dish were like hockey pucks—small, rubbery, and flavorless. Would not recommend, unless you just want to sit at the bar for cocktails and appetizers.

Great restaurant, great food, great service. The tomahawk was done great. I added up the tip wrong, if the restaurant sees this, can you please correct and charge me for the tip correctly (my addition was short, don’t want the wonderful waitress to be not get what she deserve). Overall a great experience! The only constructive comment is that they should charge less for corkage fees, consistent with other establishments in Seattle. $40 is a bit much, $25 -$30 is more appropriate, IMO.

I booked a table for 3 at 5pm Sunday for a family birthday. The restaurant was just beginning to get busy but rather subdued. Our waitress was initially attentive in taking our drink order and then our starter and dinner order. All were delivered by other servers. That was the last time our waitress came to us ... we stopped her at one point to ask for pepper which also was delivered by someone else. We had also asked her for another beverage which never showed up Another 'waiter' boxed up our food and brought dessert menus. Again, no interaction with our waitress -- who bustled around at other tables next to ours with larger parties. We finally asked a different server if we could get our check ... thoroughly deflated and upset at this point. This was supposed to be a special evening. Clearly it was not. The food was excellent! The food and beverage servers were efficient. Definitely order at least one starter or small plate if you are hungry.

The food was unappetizing. The lamb tartar was covered in cumin. I didn’t understand The chickpea purée with my beef cheek . It didn’t work with the dish. The flavor over powered the check and the texture was too thick. Beef cheek is supposed to be a very delicate, fine dish. My husband’s $67 steak was ruined with heavy char marks. The char flavor overpowered the steak. The best things about our meal out were the cocktails and bottle of wine, and, of course, each other’s company. We will not be back.

The grits and mushroom small plate was outstanding. The ribeye steak is always the best choice. Wild boar gnocchi was also impressive

Food and service were top-notch. The restaurant has high-ceilings and an open kitchen so it’s a bit noisy, but not so much that you have to shout at your table. Try the grits!
