   Tasty, juicy burgers in a fab warm & friendly, laid back restaurant in a lovely village. We had a Jalapeño beef burger, hot chicken burger and kids cheese burger and all were perfectly made with a small side helping of slaw and fries. Yes quite expensive, but everywhere is now and yet not always as good as this. We’ll be back.

   Food and service were fantastic, only thing that let's it down is it was freezing several tables were sat wearing coats.

   Excellent food, great friendly service would recommend. Only issue seating area was cold had to keep our coats on.

   Excellent food, great taste with cool atmosphere in a small, efficient restaurant. Had a great birthday meal and everyone enjoyed their food, I'm a vegetarian and the vegi burger was great.

    I was so disappointed after reading all the reviews! The burgers are cooked well done - no options - and the ingredients were so over the top that you couldn't eat the burger in your hands because everything squidged out. I had the Blue Heaven and could not taste any of the 'strong blue cheese' and the burger was dry bc it was well done. My husband had the Sizzle the Bacon and again the taste of the cheese just wasn't there and the beef was dry. The fries were good and so was the coleslaw but that's not what you go to a burger joint for.

    Thank you Joan for sharing your comments with us on your recent visit. UK Food Safety Regulations require burgers to be cooked well done. This is to ensure that the centre of the burger (made from minced beef) reaches a temperature of 73 degrees. Serving them any other way is unsafe. Most guests love the toppings and comment on how moist of burgers are. We are sorry you felt otherwise, but had you mentioned this to our team during the visit, we would have done our best to rectify the situation. We hope you try us again sometime.
