   Amazing food! Our experience at Flute was really good. The scallops and seared tuna steak were to die for. The other guests really enjoyed their meal as well. We'll definitely be back!

   Valentines dinner in this restaurant. Great portions, prices reasonable and food was amazing. The oysters were the best that we have ever tasted in the UK. Totally recommended. The staff was very kind and fast. We are definitely coming back

   The only reason I marked a four for ambience is that it was a bit chilly, however a fan heater was given to us when we mentioned we were cold. Overall absolutely wonderful! Great value for money, totally relaxed atmosphere. We will be back!

   Nice meal but service unbelievable slow - took 90 mins to get main course. No explanation or apology given.

   I found the prawn cocktail needed more lettuce rather than just two small pieces and the seafood linguine although flavoursome was also lacking in seafood. I was also disappointed to find that the chocolate pudding was just a large piece of warm cake , a filling would have elevated it.

   Lovely atmosphere and service. Food good but slightly mixed opinion depending on dishes. Scallops were amazing; prawns pil-pil OK, but a bit greasy; bouibaisse was very disappointing - too much broth and not enough fish/seafood; sides were good as were desserts. Good value (with 50% discount voucher, but don't think I'd be happy paying full price for what we got). Left feeling slightly disppointed overall and doubtful about returning.

   Went to flute for NYE and paid £40 deposit. Setting was nice but surprisingly quiet for NYE and we were greeted with a warm welcome and a glass of fizz from the staff. Menu prices didn’t make sense, I ordered the most expensive starter, main and a nice pud etc and it still came in cheaper than my partners NYE 3 course set menu??? Some courses were not available on the NYE set menu, waitress said they were sold out even though they were far from full on NYE probably meant didn’t bother to put them on the menu this was at 8pm, she did offer to swap other things from the ala carte menu to the set menu. I ordered a £20 starter dressed crab with sourdough not great at all and never worth £20. My partner ordered the set menu Arancini which was so bland and stodgy not good. Asked for olives as an appetiser but they didn’t have any, not what you would expect for NYE special occasion. We ordered some soft drinks which came out wrong but no big deal. I ordered a sirloin steak off the ala carte menu they didn’t have it so they reverted back to NYE menu and had to have a ribeye which to be fair I was happy with. My partner ordered a steak au poivre from NYE menu which didn’t come with any sides and no sides where listed on the set menu so we had reverted back to the ala carte menu and ordered some fries which to be fair the waitress / manager added on free of charge. Both steaks were asked to be medium but came out rare / medium rare at best. Puddings were fine and quite nice. All in all very disappointed with the quality of food for the prices and location. I must say I gave some feedback to the manager of our experience and she offered some discount and incentives for a future return which was kind but our NYE was spoilt and probably wouldn’t return.

   Mediocre meal. The fish was nice but it came with virtually nothing...a smudge of butternut squash and about 6 sprouts! Asked for a little more squash and received a tiny dessert spoon size saucer. Need to order some sides for a decent meal.

    Excellent food. Friendly helpful service. Will definitely go again. Lovely to have a restaurant we can go to with our dog.
