Wonderful dinner, food was quite taste. The pace of dinner was fine and the dining room partially filled. Abruptly after our check was returned the hostess came over and said she needed one of our tabes for another party. Before we could say anything, she moved the table and left three of us at a small two person table. A very disturbing experience and a sad ending that would have been a wonderful dining experience.

Menu at the restaurant did not match what was online, there were fewer options. And one of the few options offered on the menu handed to us was not available. Food was OK but nothing outstanding. I ordered the portabella sandwich (after finding out that the brisket sandwich was not available) was on the soggy side.

One of my favorite places to eat and drink in Durham. I had their Gorgonzola pasta with seared tuna and their "Desert Flower" cocktail, which I especially loved because it was uniquely savory and paired perfectly with my meal. My date had the "Flying Bull Ribeye" with their Scotch ale which he also loved. We ended the meal by sharing the banana pudding, we were stuffed but couldn't resist and are glad we didn't! Service was great and the ambience in the dining area was just swanky enough for a date night without being too formal.

We enjoyed out second visit. We were able to sit outside - they have a lovely patio area. The service was a little slow, but the food and beer was good. I was disappointed they were out of a vegetarian entree, but the tuna pasta I had was very nice. It's a great place to have a meal prior to a show at the Carolina Theater.

The beer was really good. Had live music which was great. Food was very average to below average and I felt quite pricy for what you got. $16 for a burger with no sides and a full bowl of fries for $11 that were similar in size to what you got for $4 if you added on to your burger order.

Food was OK, but took quite a while to get our food and our drinks. The drinks were very good once we got them server never came to follow up on how our food turned out. I ended up throwing out my entire entrée. Everyone else in my party was happy with their food.

The food was terrible—some under cooked and under-seasoned and the rest (gravy and cornbread) very salty.

Ambience and service were good. Pretty quiet which was good for conversation but largely because it was pretty empty on a Thursday evening. Food was mixed. I had the brisket sandwich and enjoyed it. Brussel sprout appetizer was good. My wife got the portabella "burger" which she said was really just a slice of mushroom on a bun and not really sufficient for a meal. I like the set up having a small dining area set aside from the bar but wish the food was a bit better.
