   The tomahawk & tequila event was pretty good overall. Would I go back for it? Probably not. You got 1 2oz slice of the tomahawk steak. They also served an array of other things along with it. But the actual main thing everyone was looking forward to was the tomahawk. It was disappointing that we only got a slice of it. And there was a lot of fat on the slice. At least 2 slices would have been a little better. The featured cocktail was pretty good. But I wish they would have had a margarita on the menu. That would have made way more sense than an old fashioned that wasn’t even good. The service was not the typical Fogo service when it came to attentiveness. There were multiple times I had to ask for water & bread was not brought out to our table until I asked. Other tables had it so we waited until the 3rd course to ask for some. They gave us quite a bit and overall it was a decent price but it wasn’t too far from the dining room price and you get unlimited meat and better service. The tomahawk was the selling point and that was literally a slice for each person which made the experience borderline not worth it. I heard some others around us were also disappointed in the tomahawk serving. I wish they would have accurately advertised it as a 2oz serving in the description for the event. But using “a tasting” probably brought more people in than it would have. Overall everything tasted great but I probably won’t be back for another experience unless they get an extra server or 2. I shouldn’t have to remind them I’m drinking tap water and need a refill several times. I also shouldn’t have to ask for bread to initially be brought out if all the other tables also have it. I won’t even get into how they charge $8 for sparkling water and start off with “can I get you some sparkling water” I get the upcharge and making additional $ on it. But to not ask tap or sparkling and just ask if you want sparkling is not right.

   We had Dinner on Memorial Day weekend. Halfway through Dinner, all servers but two left the restaurant, and we had to wait half an hour to pay our bill

   Delicious meats, if you have a particular slice of meat you want just mention it your serve and they’ll bring it around.

   The restaurant is very expensive and the environment feels cheap. The restaurant is dated unintimate - feels like a big block. Like a conference room.  the service is bad. Nobody walked us through how it works. We sat for 40 minutes with people passing us with the meat and didn’t explain how we get served. The waiters rushed off to go to other tables while we were in the middle of speaking to them. Clearly that’s a sign that the restaurant is under staffed. Our serving staff didn’t listen to us. The bathroom was gross. It felt like a cheap restaurant, except our bill was astronomical. Nothing about the experience felt special, which is why we booked there as a special occasion but you’re treated like you’re one of the masses.  The quality of the food was average.

    The food was delicious, it was an hour wait even with a reservation but it was Mother's Day and the restaurant was packed so I understand the wait. I suggest the restaurant not overbook in the future to cut down on the wait time.
