   You can't go wrong with Fogo de Chao; one of my favorite Brazilian Steakhouses.. Awesome food, and service. Our server Cesar was great. He was kind, professional, and very jovial. He was kind enough to take pics of us at the end of our dinner... Awesome night!

   Sloppy all the way around. I’ve been here many times so I know what the experience is supposed to be like. This one featured: — Long wait, despite having reservations and being on time — Empty glasses — Bare plates, and not because we ate everything — Charged for drinks we didn’t receive — We noted it was a special occasion and it wasn’t acknowledged (small touches you expect at places like this) — I’m sure you were short-staffed, but set expectation with your guests

   As a Fogo de Chao fan who has visited pretty much every location in the USA, my visit to the Dunwoody location was the worst dining experience of my life. I should have went to the Buckhead location. 1. Reservation was for 8:15. Didn’t get seated until 8:50 2. Salad bar was missing options most Fogo locations usually have 3. My waiter took our order and I never saw him again. I had to get one of the gauchos To get me drink refills and clean plates 4. I only saw about 4 meats comes to our table. Usually 1 see 12 options or so. No fish, no ribs, no filet wrapped in bacon, and many others. 5. I saw staff arguing with one another several times. *This was a bad experience and this restaurant has major leadership and service issues. On a positive note, my experience at the Buckhead location has always been Perfect.

   Waitress completely forgot about us. Never delivered ordered items or filled water. Eventually flagged down another waitress willing to help after asking others for help. She was great. If it wasn’t for her we would have rated service as a 1. This place is too expensive for the service we received.

   I made these reservations on April 11th to dine on May 11th I made the reservation based on a special promotion I received via email. My reservation was for 5:15pm. I noted on the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday. It was also Mother’s Day so we expected it to be busier than normal. We arrived on time a there were hundreds of customers waiting outside , in the lobby , and in the restaurant. The hostess just gave everyone a generic statement about customers taking longer than normal and they were in the process of cleaning tables. We finally sat down 45 mins past our reservation time , to substandard service , food stations barely replenish , being told the promo that I booked a month prior didn’t apply to that day , no birthday celebration of course. Extremely loud and crowded. I will never return to this restaurant ever. Maybe on holidays booked fewer restaurants per hour instead of every 15 mins! To protect the dining experience of those with reservations.

   We have unfortunately learned that Fogo cannot maintain the same high-quality service during busy times—so we strongly advise avoiding holidays, weekends, or peak periods. From the outset, our experience was unacceptable. Despite having a reservation, the host seated another family with a similar name—Terrece instead of TARESA—because she failed to properly confirm the reservation details. This mistake was not only careless but set a terrible tone for what was supposed to be a special evening: my husband’s 40th birthday dinner. The situation only worsened. Our reserved table was given to another large party, and we were relegated to the so-called “covered” patio—in January, where we were left to endure an uncomfortable, freezing experience. What should have been a memorable celebration quickly became a disaster. After expressing our dissatisfaction, we spoke with Beatriz, who attempted to make amends by comping four of the 16 full churrasco services we paid for that night. Based on this gesture, we decided to give Fogo another chance for Mother’s Day. Unfortunately, this was yet another mistake. Once again, the service was severely lacking. Despite ordering full churrasco, we had to repeatedly request core items like picanha, lamb, and filet, while other options—like ribeye, bacon-wrapped filet, and pork belly—never even made it to our table. Instead, we were served only chicken and sirloin, leaving us waiting endlessly and eventually too full from the salad bar to continue asking. Twice now, Fogo has demonstrated a clear inability to deliver on its promises, even during important occasions. This consistent failure is simply unacceptable, and we are left deeply disappointed. The only reason I didn’t give them a one-star review is because I know what Fogo is capable of when they actually deliver the exceptional service they’re known for. When they get it right, it’s absolutely worth it. But that’s clearly only when they aren’t overwhelmed and failing.

   My waitress was phenomenal.. very professional informative.. and provided excellent service. I wish I remembered her name by she was a short black woman with dreads and glasses!! My daughter and I went for Mothers Day and our waitress took great care of us… even with the heavy volume. The food was great.. I’ve been before.. and this time I didn’t get as many options.. I’m guessing do to the heavy volume.. the sides were great however it would be nice to have more options… overall I’d give this dining experience 4/5 stars.. definitely will be returning. Oh.. and we also got a Mother’s Day gift of a percentage off when we return.. that was nice and thoughtful!!

   I love Fogo and dine here at this location often, so today was a fluke since it was a holiday - but I wouldn’t recommend coming here on a holiday. It was chaotic and service was horrible at this price point.
