   As my first time, the experience was amazing! I definitely recommend to anyone who wants a fine dining experience. The waiter and waitresses were extremely sweet and prompt!

   So disappointed. Came for Mother's Day. Fogo is a shell of its former self. First, the mothersday pricing was not communicated, and the brunch had no breakfast options. The interior is so worn out looking, so dated, the chair I sat in had a hole in the cushion. The salad bar looked so unappealing, not the great items that were once on it. Like, just things thrown on a plate. The little biscuits they brought to the table were cold, and the mashed potatoes, fried banana, and potato strudel were cold and tasteless. The Bloody Mary was good. The service was okay, and the meats were good and warm overall. Just not a great experience for the price.

   I’m a big Fogo fan and have enjoyed terrific business and personal meals for two decades at these great restaurants in many cities. My wife’s birthday lands on Mother’s Day this year and her Saturday solo dinner with me was a choice for Fogo de Chao. The restaurant in Katy had no openings when I checked. It’s been since before COVID that I last ate on Westheimer, but they had openings and I’d had many great experiences there in the past. This was not true this time. All parking is valet. Good luck when I needed something left in the car. The highlight of the evening was a wonderful greeter but things went downhill from there. Our wait staff member was in too big a hurry but she was okay. The salad bar was very sub-par for a Fogo experience. The meat gauchos were very sparse and could not bring out meats we requested. The baby sirloin could not be cut with a knife and other beef cuts were too fatty to chew. My poor wife had one disappointment after another. Normally we are blown away by the food and service. Something tells me the management has developed a culture that permits mediocre to poor performance. We’ll not be back to this location.

   Waiters were slow and never came by very often. Had to wave down whoever we saw. Need more staff, but we’ll be back.

    It's the worst restaurant in all Houston Fog of Chao In several countries where I've been it's spectacular... but this is the worst.
