   Came on a Saturday night with a 7:30pm reservation for three. When I arrived there were around 30 people (not exaggerating) waiting, all with reservations—and more coming in every minute. After around 15 min we asked how many tables ahead of us. They said 2 but they called at least 7 more groups ahead of us. We finally were seated at 8pm. Server was rushing, understandably so, but explained the menu and we went to grab food at the marketplace and back to our table for the Churrasco experience. We didn’t get our first piece of meat until 8:30pm, an hour after our reservation, and that was after we had to ask one of the servers passing by. We were promised 13 cuts of meat but we only had the same 3 cuts the whole night, coming to our table at most every 20 min. Being Brazilian I was excited to bring friends who hadn’t had this type of dining experience before and frankly I was left a little embarrassed, especially at the price. The food we had was good but definitely marred by the rest of the experience.

   Fogo's Churrasco experience is unlike the others. Staff are pretty knowledgeable about their meats, they oversee the cooking and serving of the meats. Walking around with sword like spears to serve, it's a scene. The wait staff here is very nice, especially our waitress Marina. However, going on Saturday night is very different than any other time. It's jam packed and the workers are all hands on deck. That said, it's service is slower and harder to get their attention given the crowds. The salad bar is always a treat with salads of all kinds (spinach, Cesar, corn, or beets), fresh fruit, cheeses and charcuterie. There's even rice and beans on the side. All in all, it's quite a dining experience if you've never gone. Go for lunch, best value. And great for groups. Reservations are suggested for dinner.

   Place was nice. Four out if five stars with Four lit up wooden F-O-G-O letters that someone probably picked up at Home Goods greets you along with a Hostess after an easy parking experience. The Atmosphere is “flanked” with 3 ginormous Caymus Barrels (presumably oak, love that vineyard in Napa) which adds a genuine steak house touch to the feel. However, I wouldn’t travel here unless you already live in Long Island. I frequent Brazilian Steakhouses often, and as far as chains Texas De Brazil (not including the Aruba location) I do like over Fogo food wise. That Includes the mid-town & Puerto Rico Fogo locations and all the Florida Texas de Brazil’s. I will say I prefer the service at Fogo (even though they point to the bathroom instead of showing with an open hand) (these among other little things that hospitality professionals are trained with are what make the difference between good and great, you want to have guests, not customers) (2 min rule, 5-10ft rule, etc etc.) I find some cuts like the Beef rib are extremely dry here. The salad bar is fresher at Texas with a greater selection along with my favorites…the picanha & lamb chop and especially the beef rib. However the Fraldinha and the desserts are much better at this Fogo location. The french cremé Brûlée cheesecake and tres leche cake are amazing even though that’s Spanish not Brazilian. What is Brazilian is the Carajillo and the Guarana. If you know, you know! As a former Chef and restaurant manger, I had a nice time here and the staff (which could be more diverse) was pleasant, & this place is good but with just a few altercations it could be great. I want this place to steal my business away from the Texas de Brazil in Westchester, but it’s not quite there yet. Good Luck!

   I ordered the salmon. Sent it back. Service mediocre! First time there and it will be my last. Very disappointed. The happy hour menu was better than the dinner menu.

   it was wonderful. I went there for my brothers birthday. my server was jenna and she was amazing. she was very attentive and made sure we got everything we needed and she was very sweet.
