   We went for Christmas dinner as we are big fans of the churrasco experience.. In fact, we dined at another Brazilian steakhouse for Thanksgiving and could easily make comparisons. Sadly, Fogo didn't come close and was very disappointing. The biggest upset was the selection of meat offered to us. After reviewing the menu, we realized that there were 7 different meats we were never offered until we mentioned it to our server. Also, several meats and the white rice were extremely salty. In addition, we had to ask 4 different servers for bowls in order to try the soup. Overall, it was just a bad experience. The servers seemed overwhelmed and this carried over to poor quality in cleaning plates from the tables and ensuring a top notch meal. Lastly the salad bar was very picked over and the salads and side dishes on the bar were never replenished and quite a measly selection compared to other Fogo locations and definitely from other Brazilian chains. In such a foodie town like New Orleans, we certainly expected a better experience.

   What a awesome experience! Brandon, the customer rep. made us feel welcomed. Food hot and delish! A great Christmas meal with good service which I enjoy every year! I will be back for the next event.

   Servers mumbled whenever they approached the table. Got served chicken that was raw in the center. Several cuts were rare and not to my liking. Nobody really comes to remove old plates.

   Great experience. Selection on food market was not as varied as I would like. But food was still good. We enjoyed our time.

   Avoid this location! The quality went downhill. The food and service do not worth the price. We went there to have a good time and left feeling horrible. The restaurant was almost empty. Low quality stake - only few being offered and overcooked. Item ran out at salad bar with no refill. We ordered desert and it was never served. We ordered cocktail but it served 20 minutes later when we were leaving and it was bad. The service is terrible. The waitress never gave us plates for stake and never collected used salad plates until we almost finished our meal. She also gave us a bill when we hadn’t asked for it as we were still waiting for our desert.

   Food was delicious and well worth the trip, but our server thought she was funny when I went to pay the bill and she came back and told me my card was declined when it wasn’t. It was not funny at all.

   This place is so inconsistent. I’ve had great experiences over the years but tonight was a total fail. The market table seemed a little sparse compared to other nights and the meats brought to our table were the same five things over and over again. We asked for several other items that were being served but they never made it to our table. We were there for 90 minutes and our waters were never refilled, we weren’t asked if we wanted anything else to drink, we weren’t offered sauces, and there was no salt or pepper on our table. We were 6 and were missing silverware from the place settings. We ended up sharing forks. We weren’t offered fresh plates at any point and had to stack our own plates to get them out of the way. The sides brought to our table were all cold, even the usually delicious cheese bread. For six people we received only six pieces and they were ice cold. We received four total pieces of plantains, and four slender sticks of yucca fries - all cold and unappetizing. Even the mashed potatoes were cold and flavorless like they forgot to add something important. The corn dish which is normally delicious, was intolerably hot. Seems someone used the violently hot peppers instead of the normally used mild ones. Overall a disappointing disaster from a place that was excellent in the past.

    The best cheesecake I’ve ever had in my life. The food was phenomenal but typical at every fogo de chao. The winner for my birthday dinner was the caramel brûlée cheesecake. I have had it in Chicago before but never had it with the crispy and buttery outer layer I am not sure why it was sooo good But I would do anything to get the recipe or take a whole one back home with me. Sooo yummy not too sweet, more creamy and buttery. I will be dreaming about this one when I return to Chicago
