   Great Food, Terrible Service. My wife and I have always enjoyed dining at Fogo de Chão and have consistently had wonderful experiences—until today. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was deeply disappointing and left us feeling frustrated and overlooked. Our server, Luiz, was not welcoming and disappeared after taking our drink order—we never saw him again. We waited over 20 minutes for our caipirinhas, which were brought by someone else. We had to ask random staff for sides and sauces, including chimichurri. We tried ordering dessert through Alex, the server for the table next to us, who kindly tried to help even though we weren’t in his section—but the dessert never came until we asked again while paying. No one ever refilled our water, asked if everything was okay, or asked if we would like another drink. The food was great, but the service really ruined the experience. Hopefully, this was just an off day.

    We felt that the people that pass out the meat were very inconsiderate. We kept asking for well done meat and while we know this does take longer than normal. We noticed that several of the men that came around that we asked for well done were walking around other tables with well done steaks after letting us know they will come back. Same men seen walking around 10 minutes later not coming back to our table. We waited an extremely long time that one of our party guest was no longer hungry. The frustrating part was that they kept saying we will be back but they came back to everyone but our table. We made sure that our cards were facing green and it wasn’t until we asked the waiter to please help us out, that 15 mins later finally another man came with well done piece of steak. I’ve been to other restaurants similar in style and this one had the worst customer service. If you’re gonna charge that much per person, please make the experience enjoyable.
