    The food offering was very good and consistent with our previous visits, but the service was very disappointing. The restaurant, in general, felt understaffed and a bit rundown in our experience the evening of 6/1/25. We had a 6:45 reservation and even with plenty of open tables we had to wait a while for someone to take us over to a table. Once seated we did not get our drink orders for nearly 20 minutes. Several in our group finished their salad plates and received clean plates before their drink orders finally arrived. I requested sweetener for my tea and the server forgot; we had a lot of trouble flagging her down to remind her. We tried ordering dessert and received the dessert menus but the server wandered off for so long we gave up and just requested the check. When the check finally came we paid quickly, however, the server dropped the receipt off and left without providing a pen to sign for the bill. We waited around another 10 minutes before she came to collect the bill and she was visibly annoyed at the situation. It was not a great experience and so disappointing, especially since we were there for a celebration.

    UPDATE: After a few days of trying to get a hold of me, I was finally able to call the restaurant back. Given the throw away consumer mentality, I was VERY impressed and surprised at how much Rafael and his team wanted to get to the root of our experience. They wanted to know everything about our experience (food/drinks/staff/etc) so that they would be able to make it didn’t happen again. Needless to say, knowing how much they care about making sure we have a positive experience, we’re definitely going to be at future events. Thank you again! *See above* This was our 4th time at a Special Bar Fogo event, so we are familiar with what to expect. This was quite possibly our worst experience. So many little things were missing that FOGO usually gets right. - It was a table of 5 and we always seemed to have one person skipped over or missing each of the bites brought out. - Drinks were OK, but definitely not what I would consider a full drink. - It was billed at a Tomahawk & Tequila, but the Tomahawk came out very late and then we only received 1 slice each. 2 at the table where brought the edge (crispy, fatty and very little meat) and when asking for an actual slice of meat, they gave with resistance. - One of the bites (chicken slide) came out at the very end and 2 of the 5 were cold. - It took 20-30 minutes to pay. First, our waiter just didn't pay attention to us wanting to pay, then they had a glitch with the payment system which delayed the processing for 10 mins (not their fault, but they should have notified us earlier, we had a person who had to leave). ALL of our past experiences have been significantly better, so that's kind of what we expected from this one. One of the highlights was our runner/busser (Carl) who was very engaging, and made sure we always had bread as we waited for the slow courses to come out. He kept us in the loop and even asked fellow staff about the timing on courses.

    Restaurant confirmed they had Halal options for a couple members of our party, but even when reiterating at check-in, they failed to provide the Halal only tokens. Some servers didn't know what Halal was. They need to train the staff better.

    The service was horrible and the food portion was for a baby. Not like any food experience for any Fogo I ever had I was very disappointed and the manager misrepresented the entire event. *I must update my experience after writing my review I was contacted by restaurant management to correct and return to the restaurant for another evaluation. The special event was the first of its kind so I agreed and I’m definitely looking forward to what’s to come next visit.

    It’s still a good place to go for a great meal but at $65 a person it can be very expensive. It’s a good option for special events but for a typical Saturday night dinner not so much. The meats are high quality but the flavors vary at times in terms of consistency.

    We had a reservation and informed the hostess right away that our party had arrived. However, two large groups that came after us were seated before us. We had to ask again, and she said, “I thought your party wasn’t here,” even though we had been waiting the whole time. We were hoping to impress our overseas colleagues with the experience of an all-you-can-eat meal at a classy restaurant in the U.S., but it turned out to be a major disappointment. To start, a customer service staff member told us he’d take care of us, but we had to flag someone down just to get the red/green cards to begin eating. The lamb was excellent, but we never saw that staff member again. We were seated at an outside table, and you’d think we’d be easy to spot, but servers only came by once with a very limited selection. After that, we never saw them again. The person who seemed to be our waiter came off as snooty. I simply asked for a Coke when he had a chance—since he was already serving a few to others at our table—but he didn’t seem pleased to have to come back. Despite having many staff members walking around serving food or handling tasks, they all seemed uncoordinated and disorganized. Our colleagues only received one serving of pork, filet mignon never came back around, and we had to wave someone down just to get some sausage. Overall we were embarrassed to have brought them there
