   Had dinner. Food was good as usual for Fogo. Waiter was top notch. For a Thursday it was loud and very hectic. Had a meat server twice drop sliced meat in my lap, which ultimately ruined the shirt I was wearing.

   As a usual customer, I am used to Fogo de Chão’s quality food and impeccable service. However, my recent experience wasn’t quite up to par. The cuts of steak were amazing as always, but the pao de queijo was seriously overcooked, and wasn’t served as frequently as usual. The service from my waiter didn’t fare better either. I never received the cut of steak I had specifically requested, and I waited over half an hour to receive the check from him. The host of the restaurant was also quite rude and seemed hesitant to assist me when I tried to pay the bill. One of the waiters made up for it with a free desert, which was amazing, but I fear the direction the restaurant is headed. Hopefully, it was just an off night.

   Lots of questionable practices going on here... They ask "do you want water?" Then they proceed to provide bottle after bottle of $9 bottles of water... Check your wine order closely... they brought & poured a more expensive bottle than what we ordered... They will offer up the salad bar, bread, 4 types of chicken, fried cheese and sausage before the decent cuts of meat are even offered... The cuts of beef are salted. Not slightly, but heavily. Most cuts are really tough & chewy... Even the cooked cheese is heavily salted. Overall, not the best steaks or value for your dining budget.

   They ask if you want still or sparkling water but do not tell you that you have to pay for it. I just wanted regular water.

   This was a wonderful visit, and our service by Camila and the crew was great! Eunice helped make my son's double digit Birthday "celebration" even better by giving him the perfect dessert(s). The only critique for this visit was that the music was really loud today and I felt like I could hardly hear my family while speaking during brunch.
