I truly don’t understand how Fogo de Chao Tysons has a four-star rating—our experience was more in line with 1 or 2 stars. For the price point, I expect both food quality and service to stand out, but unfortunately, neither met the mark. Our evening started poorly, with a frosty reception from the host staff. After being seated, our server took our drink orders, but we waited over 45 minutes with no sign of them. It took tracking down the manager—who was the only person in a suit—for any action, but even then, it took another 20 minutes for our drinks to finally arrive. The food was equally disappointing. Every cut of meat we received was overcooked and bland, lacking any real flavor or seasoning. When we ordered a second round of drinks, those took another 30 minutes. Frustrated, we finally spoke with the assistant manager, who listened to our concerns and after hearing about our experience, took $25 off the bill and offered a free dessert. While the gesture was appreciated, it did not make up for the overall poor quality of food and disappointing service. I cannot recommend Fogo de Chao Tysons to anyone looking for quality steak or good service. With so many better dining options in Tysons, save your money and go elsewhere.

We were there for the Bar Bites event - the surf and turf. We definitely appreciate the change to serving the bar bites in individual plates for each table, however, the food service was still slow. Also, we ordered the filet mignon board (extra) and asked for it to be cooked to medium and frankly it was medium well. We love Fogo and especially the events so we'll be back, but this was a bit of a disappointment.

What a fun event on 17 July 2025. I look forward to the next special event. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves. The food and drinks were excellent and plenty of everything. Now my husband wants to come back and try the regular menu. Thank you!!!

All the meats were well done even when asked for medium. Servers were rude. Had to ask for cuts several different times.

While we did see several kinds of meat during the evening we absolutely didn’t see 16 different kinds. Also, we ordered the indulgent meal and requested clarified butter and cocktail sauce for the lobster tail and crab cake we order for the appetizer. It took 20 mins and asking three times to get both. All in all, it was a good experience but not something I would go back for. If we hadn't had a gift certificate for $75 it would have been way over priced.

Unfortunately yesterday’s experience was not a good one. Which makes me sad because we are frequent guests at Fogo. Maybe it was an off night. We have been coming to Tyson’s location forever because another location lost its appeal. Hopefully we will not need to find another location because we enjoy Fogo that much. But when you can’t get the servers attention or even a managers because you aren’t getting what you paid for that’s a huge problem.

Very odd experience. I often go to fogo de chao in several locations but this one was the only bad service I experienced. The loud music made the experience not good. I asked to lower a little but they did not attend my request. We could not talk during our meal was very loud and the waiters were not friendly at all. The tall brazilian guy wasnt friendly and the girl with curly hair also not friendly, everytime we asked a question they made a face like they dont want to help.
