We often go to Fogo de Chao, but this is our second time at this location. Last year, the fire alarm went off for 45 minutes. We kept asking if everything was OK and we were told it had malfunctioned. This year we arrived 15 mins early for our reservation and saw there were several open tables near the windows. We explained we were celebrating a birthday and in our reservations that we made in September requeated to sit there. We were given a token and told it would vibrate when our table was ready. After about 15 minutes of watching other parties get seated we inquired how much longer our wait would be. At this point it was noticeable that all the previously empty tables had been filled. When I tried to inquire as to why people who came after us were seated in the area we requested, the hostess became exceptionally rude and unprofessional DEMANDING I identify who came in after us. She further explained that reservations are not honored because they dont know how long people will stay at their tables, nor are special seating requests. We were then offered a different table in the main dining room but we were told we would have to be done by 5 because another reservation was coming. Which was a complete contradiction to the "no request reservation policy". At the risk of causing a scene, I walked away. Unfortunately the slim chance of finding a place to eat on a Saturday night forced us to stay. Our waiter took half the tables drink order and then walked away. Thankfully, a very nice manager came to our table and truly did everything he could to make our experience better but sadly his co workers continued to drop the ball- dirty plates never cleared, sides never brought, additional drinks never brought. We love Fogo but we will certainly not be back to this location. We will stick with the DC and Baltimore location where we have never been disappointed.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse at National Harbor, and I must say, it was a uniquely exceptional experience. I went with my date and her sister, and it was especially significant because it was my date’s first time there. Creating a memorable first impression is crucial, and this restaurant exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Phumza Dyanti, whose customer service skills are truly commendable. She treated us like VIPs, ensuring that every aspect of our meal was perfect. Phumza’s attentiveness made the atmosphere feel even more inviting, especially for my date, who was experiencing the restaurant for the first time. It was clear that she genuinely cared about our experience, and her efforts did not go unnoticed. Our waiter, Izzy, was equally impressive. He was swift, attentive, and took care of our every need with a friendly demeanor. It’s always a pleasure to have a waiter who is both knowledgeable about the menu and proactive in ensuring that the guests are satisfied. Now, let’s get to the food. As someone who hails from Texas and has high standards when it comes to steak, I can confidently say that the cuisine at Fogo de Chão was delightful. While we did experience a slight delay in getting our meat preferences sorted out, once we did, the meat was incredibly flavorful and expertly cooked. The variety of skewered meats offered, paired with the fresh sides and salads, created a well-rounded dining experience. Overall, I left Fogo de Chão with a full belly and a happy heart. It’s a place that I would highly recommend, especially for anyone looking to enjoy a unique dining experience. We’ll definitely be visiting again, and I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Phumza Dyanti for making our visit so memorable. If you’re looking for a restaurant that combines amazing food with exceptional service, look no further than Fogo de Chão at National Harbor!

Wow…this was the most amazing culinary experience I’ve had in a long time! And boy were we satisfied! Every single thing from the sirloin, bacon wrapped filet, crusted pork, and the unlimited salad bar, was so fresh and hot and cooked to the perfection. And you can request rare pieces as well. And the happy hour is ALL DAY! The gold rush was so smooth and delicious and paired well with everything. And don’t underestimate the cheesy bread puffs, either. They were so warm and crispy on the outside, warm and gooey on the inside. I wish I had room to eat more! Highly recommended!

I chose this location because I think they’re better than all the others. The service staff did well for a thanksgiving option. Will I go back definitely just not during a holiday.

Very nice staff, very nice restaurant. Limited side options, not enough options for children. A lot of walking in between the tables which was overwhelming. Other than that I had a great experience. I enjoyed the flow of the food. Everyone was very nice- VERY NICE. Grew customer service.

Maybe because it was a holiday but I felt very rushed during my dining experience. Food was definitely not worth the dinner price. My son ordered a coke which never arrived.

This was our family's first Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant and I have to say this was such an amazing time. Our servers Pumza, Jonathon and Kim were extremely kind and made our whole experience a memorable one. They constantly checked in on our table and with their pleasant attitudes they took in on our jokes. Your restaurant is blessed to have these staff members. Because of them my family really enjoyed ourselves and looking forward to coming back soon.

The selection of food at the buffet table was incredible. I could stuff myself from the buffet without the servings of meats.
