   We had a hard time even getting waters at the table. The service was very poor. They didn’t bring our sides out until we were done eating for after 30 minutes. The salad bar was sparse and they did not restock it. We went up three times and they didn’t have lettuce for salads. Very disappointed. $275 for four people should bring a better service.

   We had a 4:00 pm reservation for 6 people on Christmas Day. The last time we dined at Fogo de Chão the seating wasn't as congested. The tables were placed so closely together that it made it nearly impossible for the servers to get between them. Several items were out on the salad bar, including salad dressings. We weren't asked about our preferred temperatures. The meat service moved at a glacial pace, and there were big lulls between service. I overheard someone say that the restaurant booked over 700 people for the day. Unfortunately, overbooking led to slow service and neglect of many patrons.

   Let me preface with this is not the first Brazilian style restaurant we have visited. We made reservations for 4 at 4. The restaurant was very busy, no judgement there. Many other patrons that did exactly as we did; went out to dinner on Christmas Day. Once our group was seated it was 15 min before we were greeted by someone for our drink order. We weren’t asked how we would like our meat cooked, and when we did ask for something to be cooked a little more we were not brought the request item cooked to temperature back. Salad bar was constantly out of items and it was an hour before bread was restocked. The individual that was our waitress, in a 2 hour timeframe, stopped at our table twice. Each time we stopped someone passing by that happened to make eye contact to request anything to include drink refills and our bill. The cheese with honey, oh my deliciousness. If you do go, be sure to get that! I asked multiple times for that to be brought to our table after the initial tasting of it. Sad to say it was not brought back. We went with hopes of this being the amazing service and atmosphere we are used to at similar locations. We also went with all intentions of leaving a very large tip knowing that people were working a holiday and were spending time away from their family to provide for others that for whatever reason were eating out. We so wanted to enjoy this establishment but can honestly say we will not be back and we will not be recommending it to others that we know.

   The salad bar was excellent. I enjoyed the meats and the side dishes. My favorite was the cheese bread and papaya cream.

   Christmas dinner. Ambiance, service, food all great. Unfortunately selection of meats did not meet what was offered, or if offered, stops were not made at our table.
