   Food and ambience was amazing but the wait service was subpar because they constantly brought out the food so late and the wait staff was so rude except the managers, they were very polite and welcoming, but the staff who brought out the food were rude and not accommodating! I will never go there again unfortunately!

   We were rushed!! 2 waiters and they kept asking if we were ready to order as soon as we sat down at our table.Drinks were ok ! They are noted for there grilled meats .. there were over cooked and tasteless ! The meat servers barely came around to our table we kept asking the waiter to have them come over to our table .We never got our side dishes .The manager came over and said he was sorry ! He wanted to give us a free dessert .We did not want one .We received the bill and a small percent was taken off our bill ! We spent 250.00 on drinks and the salad bar . Will not go back !

   This was an exceptional dining experience. I’ve been to a couple of different Fogo de Chaos before and Providence is the best! The waitstaff continually is checking in on your needs and are very attentive. There was a constant flow of different meats being offered and our party never had to wait for any. The ribeye, lamb and sirloin were standouts. I do have to mention the cheese with drizzled honey…amazing! The salad bar was well stocked with a huge variety of choices including soups. Each table has fried polenta, plantains, mini popovers and mashed potatoes for sharing. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant, but please go when you’re hungry!!

   The restaurant was very elegant and the tables were not too close. The service was very good and the servers were polite and attentive. The food was delicious but I would have appreciated more warm side dishes. A beautiful and sophisticated restaurant.

   I’ve been to a number of restaurants in this chain. While all are good, this was the least spectacular. The cheesy bread was cold and kind of hard. The salad bar was phenomenal, especially the fall seasonal ones. Next time, even though I’m a definite meat-eater, I’ll just opt for the salad bar. It may have been because we were there at an off time, but a lot of the meats were cooked to the right temp, but seemed a bit dried out or crusted for the first slice of the serving. When we were about 3/4 finished with our meal, they asked if we were wanting any particular cut of meat. We asked for the lamb chops because we hadn’t seen them yet. We waited for probably 10 minutes or so and they brought around land steaks and the server apologized because he said these are the steaks not the chops. He didn’t say if the chops were coming out at any point. We waited about 10 more minutes or so, and then we decided that we were gonna need to call it quits. We had ordered a dessert, and we were mostly finished with that when the server brought lamb chops around, and he seemed kind of annoyed that we wouldn’t take any. By that time it had been almost 30 minutes since we had talked to him so we had no idea they were still coming. It was a good experience, but for our anniversary, I wish that we had gone to the downtown Boston location.

   I have visited 2 other locations and was always impressed. Sadly, our experience at the Providence location was awful. I am not one to write a bad review or send back a dish - but the price tag here has always lived up to the cost. We were in the city to see Hamilton, just me and my daughter, so I splurged. We were offered maybe 4 types of meat. Had trouble getting anyone to pay attention to us. Requested finally to have a piece of sirloin and waited 15/20 minutes. Total disappointment.

    The food was great. Not all the cuts, but in general most of the food was great. Many options in the salad bar, the service is great, waiters are very educated and respectful.
