   Hotel restaurant. Very meh. Service bizarre. Two, maybe three wait people for entire place and a dozen bussers , food runners, cocktail servers. The service model is mind boggling. See how many people can touch your food? Red snapper overcooked. Risotto no flavor. Oysters with horseradish and gruyere yuck. Oysters supposed to come with warm French bread. It came with ONE slice (heel) of French bread in the middle of six oysters. I asked runner if more bread coming, “no”. It is not fancy, but I did not think getting fresh silverware when obviously needed after cheesy oysters would be ignored. We ordered peach crumble for desert. We took a bite and realized it needed ice cream. We debated asking for it as it was taking forever to deliver forgotten things. The man, who delivered our drinks one time, said he would get it and returned promptly. Crumble likely frozen ten minutes before. Speaking of drinks, the best thing about the meal was the drink I had. The Spiritual Healer. Delicious vodka cucumber St Germain cocktail. But the way, in case you are wondering about ambiance, it is same location guests eat their breakfast buffet. Will not go back.

   This is a beautiful restaurant in an idyllic location. Ate there last night and had the best time. Our service was excellent! It was a little cold inside but we adapted. The grilled oysters with black garlic and herbs were delicious. I had the crab cakes with fried green tomatoes, slightly spicy and yum. My husband had the mahi, it needed a little salt but good as well. Gulf State Park is a gorgeous place!

   They just changed to a new menu and it was good! The snapper was so good and the butter bean hummus… amazing!

   The setting is amazing- beautiful view, furnishings are nice. Food was amazing! So fresh, and delicious! Service was so helpful and friendly! Thaw whole experience was wonderful!!

   Server was very nice. After reading the reviews we were excited for a nice meal. Unfortunately, most of the components of our meals were way off. The greens that accompanied the crab cakes were crazy salty! I love salt…but even for me I had to spit out. The crab cakes were very thin; without much substance. The tri tip was like a rubber tire! Literally we took turns trying to cut it; and it was nearly impossible! I mentioned to sever; and she said it’s a common complaint…why in the world it’s even on menu is beyond me! I wanted to ask her why she didn’t tell us ahead of time so that we didn’t waste all of that money!!! Nice location, and the server still got a good tip…but super disappointed with experience here.

   Potatoes that came with fish and chips were outstanding. Like smashed and great flavor. Fried green tomatoes are a must

    Average food, decent service, nothing to write home about. Reminded me of a Disney Resort restaurant.
