   Great menu select but I had the fried chicken. It was filling and delicious, I also really enjoyed the greens included in this dish. The restaurant is beautiful. Very original concept perfect for any occasion. Will definitely return to try some of the other options on the menu 🤩

   Great restaurant that knows the definition of hospitality. A stalwart of the past two decades and my recent experience there reflects on how they have achieved such long term success. The location and space are awesome, the execution of the food is top notch, the only short-coming was the pacing, early in the meal we didn’t get the attention you would expect from this level of restaurant. Our server did their best but there were extended periods without any follow up.

   My siblings and I come to Foreign Cinema monthly and have been for the past 3 years...It is always excellent and the staff are always incredibly nice but todays server Samuel a recent transplant from France was beyond PERFECTION. He was attentive, kind, funny and took such good care of us I couldn't pass up writing yet another great review without highlighting him.... Merci Samuel et Merci Foreign Cinema!

   As always, the food never disappoints! This time dessert and appetizer was the highlight of our meal. The raspberry semifreddo and beef carpaccio are amazing!

   I had a friend visiting from Chicago and it was her birthday so I decided to treat her to a birthday dinner. She’s a foodie and enjoys fine dining so naturally I had to bring here here because I’ve eaten here several times over the years and the food is always amazing. I told the staff when I made the reservation that we would be celebrating a birthday. They were so kind. The hostess had a card for her upon seating and they also gave her a complimentary dessert at the end of the meal. We shared the calamari and we had the duck breast (me) and the 8 ounce wagyu bavette (her) as our mains. We cleaned our plates. We both did order dessert as we weren’t expecting the complimentary dessert; I had the panna cotta and she had an affogato. Those were delicious as well. We had the best time and I have a feeling that whenever she visits San Francisco again she’ll be back because I know I will be!
