   Enjoyed birthday dinner, starting with delicious Montenegro meatballs(great sauce) and tuna tartare(good balance). Perfect whiskey sours. We liked the duck pappardelle and pasta alla vodka as comfort food. Nice chocolate mouse cake for birthday, good crust. Good service from Ashley and beautiful Xmas decorations. Cute hats to take home, fun idea.

   Forgotten Tonic on historic Aviles Street is a “can’t miss” experience. Good food, wonderful ambiance and great service in a historic building on the oldest street.

   Glad we had dinner reservations! For those who did not, it was a 3+ hour wait on a Saturday night during Night of Lights. Our server was attentive, we started with crafty Christmas cocktails and shared the bruschetta which was delicious! We each enjoyed our entrees and I was most pleased with the flat bread. Too full for dessert! We are locals and eat here often and love the festive theme during the holidays, but as mentioned make reservations if you want to eat here on the weekend, especially during Night of Lights.

   Unique bar environment with one of the best Holiday cocktail menus in St. Augustine. Food selection and quality are average. (The special was a pasta dish and arrived at the table cold.) This is a bar first.
