   Enjoyed birthday dinner, starting with delicious Montenegro meatballs(great sauce) and tuna tartare(good balance). Perfect whiskey sours. We liked the duck pappardelle and pasta alla vodka as comfort food. Nice chocolate mouse cake for birthday, good crust. Good service from Ashley and beautiful Xmas decorations. Cute hats to take home, fun idea.

   Forgotten Tonic on historic Aviles Street is a “can’t miss” experience. Good food, wonderful ambiance and great service in a historic building on the oldest street.

   Unique bar environment with one of the best Holiday cocktail menus in St. Augustine. Food selection and quality are average. (The special was a pasta dish and arrived at the table cold.) This is a bar first.

    Food was underwhelming wife had the half chicken which was moist, seasoned well, and very good the mash potatoes where cold. My son’s pasta came out overcooked and super soggy, was informed it’s pre cooked and they just heat it up. I ordered the blackened fish which had almost no blacking seasoning and was decent very little of the dill tartar sauce. The drinks were good and service was good as well.

    Thank you for your feedback, Taylor. We’re glad you enjoyed the drinks, hospitality, and ambiance, but we’re sorry some aspects of your meal fell short. Your son’s pasta was prepared plain as requested, and since it didn’t meet expectations, we removed it from the bill. We always strive to make things right, and we wish the other concerns, like the mashed potatoes and tartar sauce, had been mentioned to Amelia. We’d have been happy to provide fresh potatoes or additional tartar sauce. We’ll address these concerns with our team and hope to provide a better experience next time.
