    Long excited to try this place, however we accepted a table outside on their " sidewalk" dining . DO NOT Sit there . You will be sitting in a stream of people passing as they walk the sidewalk . At one point I had a strangers dog jump In my lap attempting to get my dinner . Management should be ashamed of claiming this as part of their seating area. Too bad A I had high hope ...

    We celebrated a birthday as a couple at Fortu last night. The options for tables for 2 are not in the best areas of the restaurant. You either line the bar area (loud and busy) or the window area. Unfortunately, the best option for us was by the door, lining the windows (very busy & distracting). The best tables have the booths and are situated in the center of the room, but all are for 4 people or more. Despite the table disadvantage for couples, the service and food was outstanding. The miso cod was the best we’ve ever had. The scallops were delicious too. The carrots were tasty but came out more than halfway through our entrees. Our waiter, Milos (?) was attentive and knowledgeable. We will be back, but likely not as 2 people given the table placement situation.

    Amazing experience start to finish. We did the four course meal. Everything was top notch. Was a birthday dinner for my spouse. Brought birthday dessert and complimentary champagne. Highly recommend.

    Food was just okay. It did not taste as luxury as the setting. The drinks were far better than the food. Good service.

    It was a wonderful experience for my sisters and my birthday celebration. Food was prepared and plated well and taste was on point. Staff were very professional and came around to check up on us often. Would definitely come back. Thank you Fortu!
