   Fantastic food… reasonably priced for the level of elevation in flavor, appearance, and higher end seafood offerings. Tender slow cooked wings with crispy outside. Nice signature cocktail and beer selection.

   We took my parents to brunch for their 61st wedding anniversary. The staff and owner were very attentive and made them feel special on their day. The food was so good and we had a little room off the side for the 8 of us which was nice. We tend to get loud with conversation and laughter.

   We love Founders! They are very accommodating with a high chair for my 1 year old. The tuna tartare, French onion soup and wedge salad are our favorites! The wait staff are always very friendly as well!

   The food is very good, and they have a great menu! However my dining guest ordered a salad to start, whereas I did not order a starter- his salad came out quickly but then it was over an HOUR before our entrees arrived- when we inquired with the server she was not apologetic, no explanation and did not even acknowledge that it was taking so long- This is literally the only restaurant review I have ever written because I feel obligated to warn- I was so turned off that by the time the food came I almost didn’t want it!

   When my wife and I were discussing where to go for our 13th anniversary, Cindy reminded me of the Founders House, where we had dined before. So we decided to go there for our anniversary dinner. It was absolutely the right choice. We loved our food, our drinks, and the atmosphere. We will gladly go there again!

   Our table was waiting for us at our appointed reservation time. We were cordially greeted by the hostess ansd our waitress. In general the service was excellent although there were a few things we requested that we had to remind our waitress about. A person who appeared to be the manager came to our table to ask several times if everything was OK and we appreciated that. Our waitress spilled grease on the shirt and coat of one of our group member and although she apologized there was no offer to pay for cleaning. She also almost poked him in the head with a bone, but fortunately I saw it about to happen and backed him off. In general the food and drinks were good (not great). We shared the fried polenta and fried calamari appetizers and they were both good. My husband and I had the Berkshire Pork Chop and it was excellent and served over a sweet potato hash with brussel sprouts. Two members of our group ordered the French Onion Soup and it was way too salty for anyone to eat. We ordered three desserts to share -- the Key Lime Pie which was good, the Carrot Cake Tower which was not as good as I had hoped (I am a Carrot Cake afficianado) and the Mudslide Pie which was the best of the three. All in all we had a great time, the atmosphere was nice, we were in a smaller room so once the large group left it quieted down a bit and the food was good, not excellent. Wouldn't run back for dinner but would probably go for lunch or a burger. It was a little pricey for what we got. $650 for a party of 6 with 2 appetizers, 3 desserts, drinks and a corkage fee for brining our own bottle of wine. Wish I could say it was great for that price!

   We went out on date night for Valentine's Day. The food and service staff were excellent! They had many choices and everything tasted exquisite. We enjoyed both the swordfish and filet mignon. As well as drinks and desserts. Great atmosphere for dates.
