   It took us 15 minutes after being seated for anyone to serve us. I had to go ask for a server. One of us had the buffet and since there were no utensils at the table, I had to ask for that. My wife wanted a certain drink and they rain out so we had to order something else. She ordered a salmon salad and got a chicken salad. The waiter was less than enthusiastic and slow but the manager did come out and apologize.

   The brunch was a little disappointing. We ate here a couple of years ago and remember it being much better.

   We were seated outside on a sunny day. The restaurant does not have any shade or umbrellas anywhere for the guests so be aware. You need to go in and out of a small revolving door with your plate of food if you’re doing the brunch buffet so it was a little awkward. The food options were great but the service was Meh. They sat us at a table and then asked us to move to the table right next to it because someone else was going to sit at that table at some point. Someone did sit there 45 minutes later. We had to continually ask for water and when we paid, they didn’t say anything. Not thank you, Have a nice day, happy Mother’s Day etc. Probably won’t be back to this one.

   Founding Farmers has great food. Brunch, however, is not the way to experience it. Things you wouldn't usually eat together, items that should be hot are luke warm at best, and having to fill up your plate and walk through the crowded restaurant make it a fail for me (personally).

   Surprising experience at FF-Reston...and not in a good way. Management appeared busy putting out fires reactively instead of preparation for Mother's Day brunch proactively. Example: Restroom had no working hand dryers and no paper towels either. When brought to the attention of management staff, they kinda Shrugged their shoulders as it was a known issue and they hadn't come up with a solution yet. Our server was barely adequate. I had to get my own place setting so I could eat despite notifying our server. Insufficient attention to detail. Buffet line for brunch was chaotic due to volume of diners, next to a busy server stand, next to a busy drink station, next to the Bakery. Poor layout. Food was okay but more around $25 dollar quality and not $35 for what they were charging.

   The food was amazing and even our picky 8 year old found things he liked (not just the donuts and pastries). It was a wonderful mother's day brunch.

   Lindsay was our server and very knowledgeable about the drinks. We enjoyed the Spicy Paloma! Eating outside was fun and we enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere. We’re looking forward to returning soon.
