Four Kings was hands down one of the best meals ive had in a long time. The hot mustard jelly fish was awesome, the escargots had amazing flavor and were cooked perfectly, some places make it too rubbery but the texture was amazing! The claypot rice was good but my fave was the steak chow fun, those thick noodles & smoky beef were just the perfect definition of wok hei! Thanks for an amazing meal!

Fun to try their smaller plates for variety but the only dish that was stood out in flavors is the lamb skewer. The clay pot rice was a disappointment. Bathroom is a better experience with the lights off.

I felt service was nice but a bit slow, and I found most dishes either very salty or containing a mix of flavourings I was not sure worked - like small strips of squab skin drenched in a slightly sweet sauce that clashed with the Sichuan peppercorn they gave to dip or an extremely salty squid that had the essence of salt and pepper but was just so salty it was hard to taste much. The ginger scallion chicken rolled into a torchon thing is genius tho and I’d honestly go back just for that/to give rest of menu a shot potentially

Flavors were really good but all dishes were way over the top salty. Black pepper steak got points off for being too gristly and then sliced along (not against) the grain. Wouldn’t mind going again but only if someone else was paying.

Restaurant Review I recently dined at Four Kings and had a mixed experience. The food and service were both commendable. The dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, and the staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that our dining experience was pleasant in terms of service. However, the dining area left much to be desired. It seemed poorly designed, with visible wear and tear that detracted from the overall ambiance. We made reservations 30 days in advance to be seated at a counter where walk ins are seated. They didn’t offer an option. That experience reduced my overall rating. I do think the decor seemed outdated and in need of a refresh. In summary, while the food and service are definite highlights of Four Kings, the dining environment could use some improvements to match the quality of the culinary offerings.

The quintessential Cantonese restaurants. Some of the dishes took me on a trip down memory lane.

Food was excellent. We were seated at the bar initially but it was quite tight for my husband and I. The amazing wait staff had availability to move us. They were so kind! We ordered the steam fish, spicy lamb meatballs, green beans, eggplant, fried rice and silkened tofu for dessert. The standout was the fish, fried rice, and dessert. They were all takes on a Cantonese dish with a twist. Mind was blown on the dessert. We love that tofu dessert and with their Four Kings twist, spectacular! Glad we found a late reservation and had a chance to check this place out. We will definitely be coming back!
