Service was great but some of the food really missed the mark. Brussels sprouts chips were good but need some type of dipping sauce. Recall salty. I ordered sea bass and it may have been one of the worst fish entrées I have ever ordered. It was a $44 dollar entree which is insane and the fish itself had no flavor at all. It sat atop a plate of acidic tomato broth and beans- just awful. My husband ordered the French dip, short rib sandwich and that was the star dish the night and the french fries were good. If I came back, it would only be for a drink. The cocktail I had was not very good either, but the wine was fine.

Service was sketchy at first but it improved midway through the meal.

We enjoyed the ambiance and the service. However, our food was overpriced for the quality and amount of food we received. The lettuce on our salad was wilted and the steak was dry. We won’t be back there.

Food was passable. Not authentic French Bistro, definitely an American take. Service was good. Big screen tvs ruined the vibe.

Great place, beautiful bar. Food - very good with reasonable, prices. Great cocktails and nice wines by the glass to compliment the food. Service was very good even as restaurant got more crowded. Nice for pre-theater dining. We will be back

The French Onion soup was excellent. The pasta with mushrooms was a bit sparse with mushrooms and rather bland. The chocolate coffee dessert was tasty.

Disappointed with the $60 Restaurant week menu. It was not worth the money. My main dish Beef bourguignon was a very small piece of beef with hardly any sauce and too salty . It was served with pomme puree which I did not catch ahead of time that it contained dairy . I asked for bread instead and they charged me $4 for 2 pics of toast.

I haven't been to Francoise Frankie's in a number of years and won't be returning any time soon. Our entire group of six was aligned that the found was pretty, but bland. The service was slow, even after we specifically asked for our server, as one of our guests found a hair in her food when it arrived at the table. While a replacement dish was brought out relatively quickly, it did not come with any apology, a visit from a manager, or even a nominal discount on our bill. And the dining room is SO loud, it was hard to carry on a conversation. A lot of money to spend for mediocre food and a disappointing experience.
