   This was our first time going to this restaurant and had high hopes that it would be really good. We went on a Saturday night for a early dinner at 5:30, so it wasn't very busy. My husband ordered the New York steak but the server got it wrong and he brought him the Rib eye instead. It was no big deal. We were hungry and didn't want to wait any longer so we didn't say anything. It was good but for the price it should have been excellent & it was not. He ordered it with a small Caesar salad which came first. He wasn't to impressed with it and said it was just okay. So, unfortunately, I had ordered the full size Caesar Salad with the option of salmon added to it. I asked if it was a good size salad since I was going to have it as my entree & was told yes, it was. When it came to the table my husband and I thought it looked the same or smaller that the small dinner size salad he got. Very bland salad with hardly any Parmesan cheese, (maybe 3 or 4 small shavings), not much dressing either and the piece of salmon was overcooked, hard , cold & with no flavor. It looked like it had been just taken out of the fridge. I asked for an extra side of dressing and some lemon wedges, (but got a few slices), to try to make it better but it didn't help much. He didn't eat all his steak and I didn't eat all my salmon so we took it home and our dog enjoyed it very much. Very disappointing. The ratings I saw online mostly looked really good. I suggested that they just had a bad night? Maybe the regular chef had the night off? Not sure if we will go back. The quality was just not up to par with prices they are charging.

   Simply amazing!!!!!! Our food was awesome our service was good loved it will be back love the managerial staff was outstanding

   Excellent food, service is top notch. Collin is an excellent server and very knowledgeable regarding the menu and recommendations. Very good meat quality.

   The steak was the best in the valley. Arancini, rice ball appetizers left us wanting more. Wine list was decent. Good job.

   This was our first time eating here for my birthday and it was such a fantastic experience. The food was phenomenal and our waitress was excellent. I would 100% recommend to others if they are looking for a high scale dinning experience.

   Food was fantastic the bao buns are so delicious and the dinner was fantastic! The chefs menu is wonderful!

   Salt Block Ribeye along with Lobster Mac n Cheese…we get them every single time and they never disappoint. Freestone is definitely the highlight of our dining options in the Flathead. Highly recommend!

   Well, I just found my new favorite restaurant in the Kalispell area. Food was excellently prepared and presented, service was great, and the restaurant itself is very cool with log home paneling, big, natural timbers and all-Montana style stonework. The Pork Belly bao was spectacular as was the pasta arrabiata was spicy (as any arrabiata should be) but not overly. The mix had pork sausage, shrimp and andouille sausage and, I think, a nice chunk of beef chuck. Very tasty. Can't wait to go back and try something else. Highly recommend.

   Excellent but overpriced oysters ($5 an oysters for 6; a dozen are slightly less expensive per oyster) Menu needs more fish items; we miss the chef’s pike! And there should be a linguini vongole or similar with a wine sauce that goes better with seafood than spicy red sauce. Spare ribs, short ribs, and shrimp with grits were all very good. Service excellent.

    First time I was there and we really liked it. Food was delicious, service attentive and helpful. We had the duck wings, yum Both had romaine 1/2 wedge. Good amounts of lardons and blue cheese. Loved it. I had shrimp and grits and it was flavorful and delicious. Husband had tenderloin. We were very happy with the entire experience and we will be back.
