Many years ago I was a hibachi chef. When I came to New York City I found it difficult to find a hibachi restaurant. Surprisingly, I successfully brought hibachi to New Yorkers. Now, New Yorkers have a Japanese steakhouse in the heart of Manhattan where they can enjoy delicious Japanese cuisine hibachi style.

The food was fantastic. I had the bao buns, dumplings and scallion panckes. Two other people has Hibachi (it was a lot of food) and my mom and the dumpling soup with shumai. The staff were lovely, not as attentive, but there was a lot going on. We were sat at the hibachi bar area? even though we had reservations for a standard table. There may have been some confusion but we went with the punches. At the end of the day, the food was great, will definitely go back.

Benny was funny and entertaining. Food was great! Vegetarian option would like to see tofu on the menu instead of just the hibachi vegetables

The food was good, not great, however the person at the counter in the entrance was horribly rude, the other servers were polite but not very skilled

If you’re not going for Hibachi it can be a little loud. The food was great, and the service was very attentive. The only problem is that we were first seated at a hibachi table, and that was super loud and unnecessarily hot. It got better once we got moved to a quieter table.
