   The “night at Fumo” is good but they only give you one crab cake appetizer for it. On all appetizers they don’t list the count for it like the scallops only come with 3 for its price value isn’t really there however the food tastes good! Service was just a tier below great. I’m a big guy and didn’t eat legit all day before eating here I left satisfied but not full I’d dine here again if I was hungry but not starving

   We were seated at the bar, and it felt like a private dining experience. Great food, great service, and not once did I feel rushed. There are four places to dine-outside in an “igloo”, inside at tables, at a sofa seating area or at the bar. Since it was Christmas Eve, the only reservation we could get at the last minute was the bar. Good choice! Frankly, any area would be a good choice. 2 of 3 in our party chose the prixe fixe meal with appetizer, main and dessert for $55. I chose the lobster deviled eggs and beet salad. So much food! And so good😋

   The baked Brie with mushrooms was amazing and so were the crab cakes! Everything we had was delicious but definitely loved these two dishes the best. It’s a pretty small place and was a little noisy but food was delicious so we didn’t mind the noise too much. Will definitely go back again!

   We'd only had breakfast at Fumo before this (definitely recommended). Dinner was absolutely fantastic. Brie, or waitress was great fun, and the meals were exceptional. Just a great surprise all around. A great alternate to, and an easy walk from the Hyatt.

   I had the Beef Tartare with an Old Fashioned, and my wife had the Salmon and Mushroom Risotto Special. My Tartare was good, but heavy in Capers and Pickle (did not bother me, but just to make others aware). The only complaint I would have on it was that the 2 small pieces of toasted bread were not commensurate with the quantity of beef provided. I would recommend double the bread ratio. My wife’s Salmon special on the other hand was not a hit with her. She said the Salmon was fairly flavorless and the Risotto was mundane. I would say the Tartare was a good value at $22, but the Salmon at $42 was not, and my Old Fashioned was a small pour that was slightly too heavy on the sweetness. Service was good and pleasant.

   It’s a must visit for anyone in North Lake Tahoe looking for a great breakfast value meal and ambiance. The “Loggers” meal and pancakes were awesome! Did anyone say “GREAT Coffee”? They have it!

   It's a very interesting menu with something for everybody. The stand out at Fumo is the service. We don't live near Fumo so we only get to go there once a year when in the area. While the service has always been excellent, we've been lucky to have Sky the last two visits. All employees are good, Sky is outstanding with her service and sense of humor. Highly recommend FUMO, and wish you luck in having Sky as your server.

    Our dinners were excellent and cooked to specifications. Service was also good and accommodate us even though we arrived late for our reservation. Hidden gem! We plan to go back for breakfast tomorrow based on the great menu.
