   My Wife & I Celebrated Our 27th Wedding Anniversary at Galpao Gaucho & Everything was Great! Super Polite & Professional Servers, Very Tasty & Well Presented Food, Awesome Ambiance, Great Location in Beautiful Sea Port Village San Diego, Very Well Maintained & Managed Restaurant!! Highly Recommend Everyone to come & Experience, You Will Not be Disappointed! 😃

   Excellent meats, a lovely central salad bar (though the soup needs some work) and the best pão de queijo I’ve ever had. Even better than the food, though, was the service. Everyone was very friendly and happy to explain the process and the cuisine. It’s pricey but I think the experience is worth it.

   I’m took my mom here for her birthday and we both had a great time! The staff was really attentive and we got some nice cuts of meat!

   We have been here quite a few times. I've always appreciated how attentive the servers are and like that they frequently ask if there's something specific we were waiting for. I was VERY impressed by the fact that one of the servers/managers remembered us from our visit a couple months prior for a birthday. HOWEVER, the server that brought us our bill. I let her know that I had a discount. Before I could finish she lets me know that it wasn't valid for today. I said, politely-"Oh, I didn't see that...I just saw it had to be before April 3rd and for dinner...Could you show me?" She turned around and simply left. For a second, I thought she was bringing the manager to clarify for me the discount. However, after 10-15 mins passing, I realized-she wasn't coming back. We decided to just pay and left the payment with another server. Very rude in my opinion which is why I took off a star.

   Great experience. Overall was great. Just minor issues on tables and chairs. And deal with so much kids on the salad line.

   amazing fast service and very friendly wait staff. the meat choices served to you table side are delicious and we especially enjoyed the top sirloin, ribeye, shrimp, grilled plantains, mango salad and both green salads. I love that multiple people stopped to help our table and everyone works together so cohesively. the caipirinha was so good and sweet and a nice balance of flavors. i tried the strawberry and passion fruit and both were equally good. inside was nicely decorated with dimly lit lighting and subtle elegant decor. they also gave my husband a complementary dessert and decorated it with a birthday message! we had such an amazing experience and will be back in the future.

    Overall, I had an exceptional experience with great service and delicious food. However, I did encounter a pricing discrepancy. I called twice—once a week before and again over the weekend—to confirm the Monday lunch price. Both a lady and a gentleman assured me it was $55 per person, even on that Monday holiday. Yet, I was charged $75 per person, citing the holiday rate. Despite this mix-up, I really enjoyed my visit!
