    Food and ambience amazing but the wine list is extremely overpriced, some bottles are marked close to 4 x, as well as not enough selections around the $100 mark and under.

    We had a great experience last night at GAO. The food was amazing and reminded me of my travels to Thailand and Vietnam. The dishes were authentic and the service with a smile was a change from other Miami restaurants where you seem to bother the wait staff when you ask too many questions. The manager was very courteous and generous to buy us deserts. Strongly recommend it.

    GAO is a much needed addition to the SOFI food scene. Authentic and delicious Vietnamese/Pan Asian. Setting is beautiful, service perfect.. Darwin was great waiter.

    I was really disappointed by the food and drinks. I understand this might be a place to go more for the vibes rather than the food, and don’t get me wrong the vibe was kinda nice, but the cocktails were so bad i was really surprised. The food, given the price, was extremely disappointing. The staff was good, but the place was very over staffed, and you had someone come to your table every two minutes, which felt like way too much. How bad the cocktails were will remain a mystery to me. I wonder if they were maybe premade or something, and just poured later on? We went to a cocktail bar after dinner a block away and had way better cocktails for half the price. Really disappointing.
