Really good Italian food in a fun atmosphere on Coronado Island. Good wine selection and reasonably priced, with a strong recommendation for the Sangiovese. Also recommend the lasagna.

Love that it is also a store for Italian goods. Had the gnocchi al pesto and the wife had penne ala carbonara. Love all the Buona Forchetta locations. Great Italian food! Grazie Millie (:

This was our first dining experience at this restaurant. We had a party of 6 to celebrate a BD. We enjoyed the focaccia bread and pasta. One guest was vegetarian, so she had multiple selections to choose from. The restaurant was packed, and as a result the kitchen was backed up. It took over an hour to get our food. Our Server was nice, he was not aware we had one guest with a nut allergy even though it was noted on the reservation and I called prior to dining to inform of the nut allergy. I wish they would have acknowledged the BD, wasn't expecting anything free just an acknowledgement . Overall the food was good, will go back when it's less busy.

Food is good, chaotic trying to check in for reservation and get seated. Service was a bit slow, took over 10 minutes for our server to acknowledge us. Cocktails took a long to to get and were watered down by the time we received them. Food was good. Wish the bar was larger, as we have sat there in the past and service was wonderful.
