The Gardenia Mare is a unique place in Ischia! The Scogli di Sant'Anna can be seen from this beautiful terrace, with Michelangelo's Tower to the left and the Aragonese Castle just within reach. With a spectacular 360° view that embraces the islands of Vivara, Procida, Capri, and Vesuvius in the distance.

By day it is a small Beach Club, with an "à la carte" restaurant where you can taste the great classics of our tradition.

At dinner the restaurant changes its look: A more peaceful tone, as befits a moonlit dinner for an unforgettable evening. Here you can find a selection of raw fish and shellfish that have a more intense taste by the sea.

We had a wonderful afternoon at Gardenia Mare. The staff was so accommodating for the beach club and the food was absolutely wonderful! We recommend the calamari and seafood pasta.

El sitio es muy bonito pero la comida es poca cantidad y cara. Tienen siempre puesta música ambiente que es innecesaria y había un grupo de niños en el agua jugando a la pelota que había que la experiencia no fuera placentera. El chico que atendía en las hamacas muy trabajador y amable.

Buono il pranzo, ma sono rimasto un po' deluso di esser stato posizionato con il tavolo non a bordo della terrazza pur in presenza di tavoli per due liberi e senza il cartello "prenotato".

Fabulous experience. We had rented a small boat and the restaurant collected us in there’s to take us to their jetty. Stunning views of little capri and Vesuvius

First we had a light lunch, local fresh ingredients and there were good recommendations from Mauro, the bruschetta and fior di latte were delicious! Then in the evening it was the special gala dinner for St Anna , four courses fresh local fish and local wine - again the same top quality ingredients and old Italian charming service - a local singer, good vibes with the fireworks at the end of the night . Forever thankful for this memory - this is a special place and if you’re thinking of booking - BOOK ! You won’t forget or regret . Thank you Mauro e team Gardenia, a la prossima !

Gorgeous atmosphere right on the water, excellent service, and great food. Taking the water taxi to and from the restaurant from the castle at night was also a wonderful experience.
