    We had made reservations to eat prior to going to the theatre. 3 for brunch in our group, 1 was a newby to Gather 22 after hearing it had been selected as Best New Restaurant in Indianapolis Monthly and was extremely excited to try a “new!” place. We all ordered, and had based our selections on our servers recommendations. When our 1 guest ordered the Sweet Potato Hash, she was never told anything about a spice/heat level. After 2 bites, her tastes buds were basically on fire and not only could she not finish her meal, but her eyes & nose wouldn’t stop running! As we recall, there was nothing on the menu stating it was spicy or hot, and our server made no mention of it when she recommended it? Needless to say, her 1st experience could have been her last….

    The burger and rice bowl were both very tasty! We also got a couple of cocktails we enjoyed. Our server was very thoughtful and entertaining too.

    Best food I’ve had in a restaurant in ages! Excellent, friendly, attentive service. Laid back, hip vibe. Loved my birthday celebration there! Will definitely be back.

    The team at Gather 22 are constantly updating their creative food / beverage offerings. It was my friend's birthday and we were able to squeeze in a special lunch. We started with the miso eggs. OMG, they were beautifully done with perfectly jammy centers (they would be a winner on any food network gourmet show). Crispy lovely thin crust pizza and a great half-price bottle of pinot grigio. Even a scoop of homemade mint chocolate chip ice cream for the birthday boy!! All in all, a perfect midday repast (and our waiter, Cole, hit the perfect balance of enjoyable / knowledgeable service). Keep it goin', Gather 22 !!

    Everything about my experience here was positive. I don't normally leave reviews, but this place deserves the best reviews. The service, the food, and the atmosphere were all top notch. 12/10 will definitely be back again!
