   My wife and I have dined at gather several times over the last few years. It is one of our go-to choices in downtown Jackson. The experience is always good. Excellent service from Harrison this evening was as expected. Food selection is nicely eclectic, there’s something for everyone. This time I had the mushroom bisque which was 10/10 outstanding. I also went a bit away from my normal selection and tried the Elk Bolognese. It was OK, but I can’t say I’d order it again. Too many other better selections on the menu.

   I really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was really good and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend Gather.

   Delicious meal with excellent service. We started with the brussels sprouts, which were tasting and richly flavored. The beet salad was a light and balanced counterpoint. Our mains were the elk papparadelle and brisket both of which were quite rich but delicious. nice balance of flavors. The homemade pasta was perfectly al dente and the brisket was tender and moist. we were too full for dessert but they looked good at other tables!

   The pork belly bao buns were amazing!! The winter squash salad was really dynamic in its flavors. The service was excellent-thanks Bree! Overall top to bottom a winner!

   We LOVE Gather! This is our 3rd visit over the years and it’s always impressed! The mushroom toast is incredible! We had the bison brisket this time and it was just amazing. The truffle pasta is top notch. Service is always terrific. Highly recommend!

   Wonderful food! We had a vegan in the group - the rest of us were surprised at how wonderful vegan cashew cheese dip was! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals! Service was excellent! Great evening!

    Service (by Sunshine) was excellent, other staff that helped were also cheery, polite, and helpful. Food was great as usual. Only negative tonight was the exceedingly LOUD large party that was in the room - made it hard to hear our table conversation. Staff were apologetic, but it wasn’t their fault; can’t help it when people feel they have to BELLOW in public places.
