Gather – casual fare, is a popular restaurant at Springwood on the Blue Mountains, a short drive up the hill from Penrith, known for creating consistently great food for lunch and dinner.

A menu of old favourites, including delicious Chicken Schnitzels, burgers, fish and steaks, have a home-style feel with familiar flavours.     As usual our go to place for dinner, it was Valentines Day and busy, the food came out fast considering the Diners Numbers. As usual a great night out.

    If it wasn’t for open table pre booking we Wouldn’t of got a table. Club was full & meal was great as usual.

    The steak sandwiches were very disappointing :( The steak was extremely thin and over cooked, very tough and tasteless. The roll it came in was hard and dry, so the whole experience was not enjoyable at all. The fish and chips however was very nice, so a lesson learnt, although I doubt we will be rushing back.

    This is our go to venue to eat as a family. Celebrating my 70th Birthday. Never have an issue, great attentive staff, good service and great food. Highly recommended.

    My husband and I eat there regularly as we love the feel of the club. Last nights meal was very disappointing to say the least. The restaurant opens at 5pm and we were seated at 5pm. I had ordered my regular schnitzel and chops with salad and mushroom gravy. The schnitzel was well done (burnt), salad consisted of wilted lettuce leaves, 2 x 1/2 Perino tomatoes and 1/2 slice of cucumber, chips tasted old. The mushroom gravy was good.

    Generally the food is great during normal times. Service is friendly and efficient. Christmas was good food, but oysters were way overpriced and prawns were OK. Tip for Christmas, don't wait in the waiting room as you will be forgotten, and line up straight away at cash register to get your table. Seated at table right beside queue for food, which made getting in and out difficult. But had a good time with family.
