Food took too long to come out. Not enough employees behind the bar. Valet backed up!

We were seated on the 2nd floor which wasn’t a problem as we asked to sit indoors due to low temp. The problem came with the service. Servers would put in the order and it took 20-25 min to get a drink because they have to pick up from the first floor bar and walk up a steep slim flight of stairs to deliver the drinks. There is a bar on the 2nd floor. Why not use it? Also food came out at random times so 2/5 ppl were eating while no one else ate food. They mixed up a lot of the food orders as well. I’m noticing places in houston that automatically add gratuity have the worst service.

Where do I start… The food looks nothing like the pictures online or IG. We ordered the stuffed shrimp, oysters and the lobster Mac and cheese. The shrimp stuffing was over seasoned, barely had any crab in it and the shrimp were small. The oysters were tiny, full of just cheese, had no crab and had some gross red sauce on them. Lastly the lobster Mac was the worst. It was watery/runny and tasted like powered cheese, topped with an over fried chewy lobster tail. I will say that the cornbread was on point though and the Crown Peach Iced Tea drink was actually good. Had high hopes for this place and left very disappointed and still hungry.

Service was extremely slow it took almost 2 hours to receive our food after being seated. Once we were seated it took almost 30 minutes for our server to attend to us. We were only a party of two. The food was decent but not worth the lack of service we received.

I was very excited to try this restaurant. The ambiance was nice. The restrooms were clean. Unfortunately the service didn’t meet expectations. It took 40 minutes to receive waters. 50 minutes to receive our cocktails, which I sent back the coconut mojito, it had an overwhelming artificial flavor. The pasta tasted store bought, the stuffed crab shrimp were good, the cornbread was good but some were inconsistent. Some of the cornbread was soft, while the rest was burnt. My Cajun rice never made it to the table, with grilled lobster, the kitchen ran out of lobster according to the staff after being there for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I have to also mention, the restaurant was no where near full capacity lThere were 2-3 tables that sat down after us, were served before us. The hookah attendant was inconsistent, they didn’t have 2 flavors that they were advertising. Sadly I wanted to enjoy this place, but the lack of attention and the unexplainable wait times really ruined this place for me.

Reservation was at 5pm, it was 5 of us, and we still had to wait about 15-20 minutes to be seated as the place was very small. We were seated upstairs and made our appetizer and drink orders before the food. We proceeded to wait over an hour and a half for our food and when it did, they all came out at different times and two of us did not even get an entree. So one canceled the order and the other had it taken to go. Honestly the appetizers were really good, but I definitely think the restaurant needs to improve significantly on wait times, service, and fixing the annoying nat issue as well. Otherwise the food was good, so I’d definitely order for takeout! There’s a valet, but I happened to find parking on the street behind the restaurant. The GPS doesn’t lead you to the front for some reason.

The food took along time to come. Ordered something on menu they came back after a hour and said it was not available. We ended up leaving because my husband was hungry. The server Kristian was awesome. I believe the the back of the house was the problem. Kristian came and gave us the food I ordered when we was at valet. Red snapper was overcooked.
