   The food was far below the standard expected at Gertie’s. Disappointing. Inner city diners expect great food and this was like something in the outer suburbs or rural areas. A travesty for such an institution in New Farm.

   Food was overpriced and didn’t come out at the same time. There was a 20 minute difference between us receiving our and our friends receiving their meal. Drinks weren’t what we ordered, stone n wood ordered received Byron Bay, champagne was supposed to be French was brut

   The staff were impeccable and very friendly and helpful. The food was terrible, came out cold and obviously not fresh. It was so disappointing for a NYE dinner date and we sent back a dish and just didn’t have confidence to order anything else. I go back for the bar experience but definitely not the food.

   As always, the service, food and atmosphere were fabulous. The cocktails are some of the least expensive but divine! We especially love the Clockwork Orange and Otto!

   Very expensive for what you got. Food service was staggered, forgot chips. Followed chips up with waitress. Waited 15mins. Gave up and left. 2 entree-size dishes and two basic drinks = $85. Outrageous.

   While the service was friendly, drinks were forgotten and incorrect (eg a mocktail Pina Colada came out with rum). The pizza and charcuterie were bland. No still bottled water is available. Prices don't reflect the quality of the food presented.

   It is always a delight visiting this venue. Great memories are always made! Just need to keep the place cooler in the summer time but overall fantasical! Bravo.

    Beautiful atmosphere at Gertie's, the service was lovely and the food was superb! Best cauliflower side to date.
