Gi-Jin is a gin and raw bar that re-imagines the sushi experience where we marry global ingredients with traditional Japanese flavors to create inspired combinations of color, technique, and style.

Our intimate space operates on a reservation-only basis for parties of
no more than FOUR (4) people per table and ONE/TWO per seating at our counter.
Online reservations are always open with real-time availability.
Each reservation seating is designated 2 hours per booking.

We do not allow any outside alcohol. if you have a request for a specific beverage please email info@gijinpgh.com prior to your visit and we will try our best to bring it in!

! Despite being about 20 minutes late due to parking issues (lots of activity between hockey games and shows), the staff kindly let us keep our reservation. A heads-up: make sure to allow extra time for parking—we thought we had enough but ended up delayed. The staff was excellent, and the food was fantastic. There was a small mix-up with a drink, but they gave us a free one to make up for it, which was appreciated. Yes, it’s pricey, but it was my wife’s birthday, and it was worth it for a special evening with delicious sushi—a tradition we look forward to every year. Highly recommended if you can snag a reservation. It took us about a month to get ours, so plan ahead!

Creative and wonderful tasting drinks. Stop in during the holidays for the “O Tannenbaum” which is the most amazing gin drink I have ever encountered. The sushi is fresh and beautifully plated. This is was my third visit and there will be many more!

Patrick was a wonderful host as always. Food was top notch as always. Got to try the Roku Gin draft system and turns out that is awesome as well. Best Sushi in Pittsburgh.

We have been many times and were excited to take someone who had not. From the very beginning the service was very slow. By the last order of nigiri we waited 45min with no fish in site. When we asked to just skip it and give us the check it took another 10min despite being a relatively quiet Tuesday night. Food was still outstanding though.

I celebrated a birthday at Gi-Jin and it was a fantastic experience! From start to finish, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful with making suggestions for food and drink options. All of the food we had was very high in quality and delicious! We enjoyed miso soup, the starter salad, several plates of nigiri, and a tuna "pizza". It was one of the best meals I've ever had and will definitely be coming in again in the future!

Fabulous experience! Our server was incredible. Everything from the creative cocktails to the edamame and salads and chef’s choices to the hand rolls and desserts, everything was divine. It’s one of our favorite places in the city.
