   Staff are nice and friendly, and got the kids drinks ready quickly. We got pastas. Prices are reasonable. It was just quite cramped and the food is more homey/diner style. Maybe good to just grab a meal with the family but not for impressing anyone. We were glad to finally try this long time Mountain View establishment.

   Newly reopened restaurant with a wonderful open air dining area available. Very good and friendly service. The Cacciucco was very good and included fresh clams, prawns, calamari, shrimp & white fish simmered in natural juices with a light tomato broth over spaghetti al dente and garlic toast. The Chicken Marsala had medallions of chicken sautéed with garlic, shallots and mushrooms, and green onion served in a marsala demi-glaze with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetable aglio olio. Both dishes had balanced tastes and were presented well.

   Allow me to preface by saying Frankie’s was sorely missed for several years. But….here comes Giorgio’s, same owners , almost same location with a very similar menu (although I do miss the veal dishes, can you bring those back?) The prices are fair for the delicious, old school Italian recipes that you don’t see enough of in the area. All of the servers we’ve had were efficient and gracious!

   What an experience to savor. Frankie and Johnny and Luigi's, too was a staple growing up in the Bay Area years ago. I'm so glad the family in back in Mountain View. The restaurant is beautiful and must have been a lot of work to create. We ate inside, but I saw the large, comfortable patio that would be heavenly during a warmer day/evening, although I did see quite a few people out there so there might have been heaters. The New York Pizza was spot on. Our server was the perfect amount of attentiveness. There was not a better place in the Bay Area for a night out. Oh, and super great parking as well! We will be back over and over.

   This is a wonderful restaurant for good solid Italian food . My husband and I come frequency to bring home the best pizza in the bay area! Tonight, we brought our grown children and their children. We all had different dishes and they were very good. We sat outside on a beautiful fall evening and the wait staff was excellent! Will be back again soon!

   Our waiter, Books or Jayme (not sure which name), a tall gentleman, was exceptional. He made our entire experience enjoyable and personalized. He was outstanding and a highlight of Georgio’s restaurant.
