   We visited Giovannis for my sons 11th birthday. Tuesday 6.30 slot. Staff had put a birthday banner on the table & were very friendly, sang happy birthday, decorated a plate and used our candle & light fountain to help make it special Top Marks for staff⭐️ My partners steak was delicious, tiramisu best I’ve tasted, the pizza was awful - we couldn’t eat it and it was taken off the bill. Nice ambience, good value with great value options before 8pm tues-Fri. We liked the music playing too & it had a good amount of people in considering the day.

   Lovely restaurant nice feel as soon as you walk in greeted. Service was great kept eye on our table for anything we may need without constantly bothering us. Made suggestions re our choices.

   The food was excellent. It strikes me that Giovanni's is one of the few remaining independent restaurants. I always feel that with the (bigger) chains the food doesn't taste as good/fresh, whereas with Giovanni's, I always feel this isn't the case and that their authenticity comes through with not just the food they serve, but the way they treat their customers - it's now my 'go to' restaurant in Knutsford.

   My wife and I had dinner at Giovanni's on the night before my wife flew out to Australia for 4 weeks. We were looking for a relaxed meal with good food, not fine dining, at a reasonable cost. The staff were excellent, constantly attentive and had " an eye for the room" that is on the look out for the body language of anyone who wanted something, whether it be a glass of water or another bottle of wine. All in all we had our relaxed, enjoyable evening and I only wish there was somewhere similar nearer to home.
